I think there are very few who want a partial point of view - just to complain seeing too little and getting confused as to what is going on. Most want it for the mystery flavour. That's not really what I wanted to do with it actually. I didn't want people to feel lost and not understand what's going on with the Partial PoV on, and then have to replay the entire game once again to get it. I'm sure if I had done it the way you wanted, there would have been other people complaining that it was too much, so I had to make a choice, and I felt this was the best one. Maybe I'm wrong though.
Either people want to see everything or only from the mc's pov. If it's the mcs pov then the player wants to see as little as possible. In Haylens scene in the carriage for example only show a dark screen (mc is asleep after all) with the noises. The player doesn't know what's going on and can let his imagination run wild.
And if someone does complain they could always choose omniscent pov.
