In my opinion, I would rather choose to reveal the H scene but hide the cutscene than vice versa. Some people might choose to start over after completing the game if I do that, but they also don't be forced to do so too. The point that creates the real appeal of Partial PoV is not only in making the player's experience more logical (although it is still not really enough for this game), but also in the emotions. The excitement it creates when we partially immerse ourselves in the main character while still actually catching what's happening.
Sorry if the words above sound too confusing because I'm using MTL to write everything. But simply put (not really), the reason I always look forward to playing games with Partial PoV is because of the indescribable feeling of leading the main character down a dark path that neither he nor I know about and admire the gradual change of the female leads without really understanding the context of it. That's also why I love Nebel Geisterjäger so much, even though if you don't understand the mechanics of that game, it's will very difficult to get used to it from the beginning.

They're broken up. I don't recall specifics but I'm pretty sure the reason the head maid was booted out of her job at the castle was because of some minor scandal involving her and her guard boyfriend. She now works for and takes the dick of the Duke and I don't believe we've seen or heard of the guard since then.I am developing another muscle memory thanks to Henteria

The head maid of the royal castle quit / "was kicked out" of the castle. All in order to continue to stay with her majesty (=Rose).
The guard dude with a crush on her followed soon after because he wanted to stay with her and couldn't bear to part.
I don't think the guard dude and the head maid are in a proper relationship. The guard dude is too dense and dumb to get it done (even worse than Leto).
In the 20$ version of the game there are more details about how the maid is doing now in the dukes mansion.
I think you don't need to play the $20 version to know what's going on with her, if I remember correctly there are some freeroam events and a mini event that shows her role in the game.
I don't think you need the $20 version to know what's going on with her. The first extra scene is the Duke using his power and influence as a means to coerce her into sex but that's all. Any other moments where she's brought back into the game are not tied to any extra scenes and are therefore part of the base game.
Can someone please give a spoiler about update 9, will Haylen and Lily finally have her sexual scene or what?

There's absolutely no shot that Lily's gonna be having sex by the end of Update10. I mean sure, she's getting 3 scenes which might sound a lot on paper, but that's not enough for her to get from where she is right now all the way to her having sex, she hasn't even touched Nezar yet.
My guess is that N_Taii is trying to get Haylen and Lily's corruption to be on a somewhat similar level so that the next time there is an Update like Update9, where Lily and Haylen each gets 1 sidequest and there's no MSQ whatsoever, both of them can get their first sex scenes in the same Update, so i'd say Lily's last scene in Update10 will be her first blowjob scene.
Although i honestly wouldn't mind if Lily's corruption was different in terms of progression, like she has sex before she starts giving blowjobs or something like that. Even though i didn't like Neve in HC2 whatsoever she's a great example here, one of her very first scenes was Anal.
Most of the girls follow the same pattern in Henteria which is: Groping>Handjob/Titjob>Blowjob/69>Sex>Anal

Yeah, but none of Lily's progression has been in line with Rose, Cyanna, or Haylen's. If we go based on their set up then her corruption level is zero.
