It doesn't hurt asking ChatGPT for ideas, sometimes that bot is really creative. But it requires a proper preamble.
I've been curious about the Mini-stories section in the guide, after completing what has been developed of the game and constantly overwriting my main file (yes i know, i wont do that again) i cant check many of these side-stories previous steps, is there a plan for them to be added in the reminisence room? Also been wondering about the extra scenes of the paid version, is there any special trigger for them (i.e. cant be seen after a certain mission, etc.)?
PS: If anyone knows what happens during steps 1,2&3 of "The mom and the bully" or has saves that can acces to those steps of the mini-story i'd be very thankfull if you could share a save or a small resume of what happens

I don't believe there's an intent for the mini-stories to be added to the room of reminiscence as none of them really have scenes. Case in point the "Mom and the bully" one is basically just the kid who was bullied having to deal with his mom tutoring his childhood bully and eventually it leads to him waiting outside the house while his mom gets railed by the bully and there's no accompanying scene. That's basically how it is for all of the side stories I've done. The fishmonger and his wife is another example of that. You see them all happy and selling fish, then you learn they took out a loan and the lack of the peacekeepers to protect the island have lead to fewer people to sell fish to, which results in the loan shark pressuring the wife into sexual situations to pay him back. If I'm remembering correctly all we get out of that is a pair of very short animations that unfortunately are not enough to really bother including in the reminiscence scenes.
To the first half, both the mini stories and the extra scenes rely on saves you created along the way if you want to see the monce more. Well the extra scenes are in the recollection room, the mini stories not. But if you have no older save but the current one, let's say at the end of update 10 then you can only see the extra scenes in said recollection room. They are naturally implemented in the story and are not accessible if you miss them.
For the second part, i'm not sure. There are differences between the mini stories. Some are more detailed like the fishsellers' wife. Others are so vague that you don't really know why they are doing what they are doing. Like mum and bully or the guitarrist.
Anyway, those 3 saves are for the first three steps of mum&bully. You should have the last one yourself.
You could also use them to see other mini stories i guess. But take care to not overwrite your own save files.
I wouldn't call the mom and the bully vague considering we see into the window and there's freshly used condoms scattered about.
When i say vague i mean it in the sense of why they are doing what they are doing.
Does the bully blackmail the mum into servicing him? Is she sexually frustrated and pretty willing?
How did the sailor get the maid to let him fuck her? We saw him inviting her into a house to discuss the guitarrists' songs at one scene and then they were fucking right after.

Not sure if I'd call that vague so much as just not important. You can infer what happened based on what happens with side characters in the HC series as a whole. The overwhelming majority of female characters come in one of two varieties: they're either pressured into sex and give it up sooner or later or they're already kinda slutty. The women who are outside of those two archetypes are rare. I'd wager the maid watching the guitarist play simply went along with the flow with a guy who seemingly enjoyed the same things she did and the bully pressured the mom into sex that she guiltily wound up really enjoying.

Proof Of Life #208: Drama, So Much Drama
Hey there you dashing fellas, how is it going in this fine morning/afternoon/evening? Either way, I'm here to make it better with my weekly PoL post to keep you updated on HC3's progress!
So I've had a few setbacks last week that made progress a little slower than expected, but nothing dramatic really. Also, I definitely haven't been playing that one game that's definitely not a crossover between Pokémon and Ark, definitely not.
So, I'm currently 75% done with Cyanna's 2nd scene of the manor party sequence(and the last one for her), and have finished and tested all the stuff before that. It was quite an important story segment between our main characters, so I had to redo it a few times to get it the way I wanted it to, but I think it turned out pretty nice. At least, it shouldn't get people to facepalm, so that's a good thing^^
I could also have done a dual PoV switching between Cyanna and Rose's scenes like I did for that one scene a few updates ago because their scenes happen very close to each other, but since it's overall harder to make, lengthier to implement in the reminiscence room, and wasn't well-received, I decided to make two distinctly separate scenes instead with a bit of story in-between.

Yeah, I'd also advise that separate scenes are the way to go. Dual PoV makes the scenes significantly less "impactful" for each character's story, IMHO. Even more if you like one character more than the other, but you're forced to focus on both because they're in the same screen.
Also, please add some sex scenes where Lily is not with loose hair... Pigtails ftw.
Thanks a bunch, i am surprised at the amount of misseable content, but that makes the world feel more organic i guess. Thanks for the saves!

The next update of HC3 should be another 2-3 weeks for higher rank patreon supporters, plus another five days for lower tier supporters. It may leak after the higher tier gets it, it may not leak until the lower tier supporters get it, it may not leak at all in which case you'll be waiting a month past whatever the release date of it is.

Man this game really does have the best sprite work for the characters. Once he switches to the new sprites in the next game he should sell an asset pack. Like just the naked base sprites for the sex scenes. It would really enhance a lot of games that just use static rpgm sprites smashing into each other, lol.

When the game is fully finished I will leak the 20$ version here. I think its pointless to play an incomplete narrative driven game.
I havent even played it yet myself, dont want to ruin the experience by having to continually wait for new releases and extra scenes.
It does have great sprite work, whoever N_Taii commissioned to do the work is very good at what they do. I've been replaying the first HC and the sprites are honestly a little laughable compared to HC3's. The women go from having practically no details of any kind to being a pair of legs, boobs, and a head once they strip off their clothes or change to wearing the sluttier oufits. Eleonora looks like a hunchback at some points. Just goes to really show how much better the sprite work is these days.

real question will this artist make sprites for HC4 after 3 is finished or will it change again because i like this artist
