Welp, I just paid my $5 horny tax as soon as I saw the new update on my itch.io feed this afternoon, and have some thoughts. I've made no secret of how excited I was for this chunk of story based on the previews, and overall, I think that I enjoyed it quite a bit, but... not really for the most obvious reasons, with some significant caveats. It's a little weird and confusing, so I'll do my best to explain.

Really hoping for future updates N_taii balances Haylen and Lily's content a little better. It's going to be a bit of an uphill climb for the next update simply because it's a massive step down in terms of stakes.

Yeah, for a character who is supposed to be absolutely stacked from top to bottom Haylen's hips are weirdly flat.

I thought I was the only one who thought this, hopefully in the future N_taii will ask the artist to do the illustration again so it doesn't look too flat on her thighs and hips.

I get the feeling the artist might be the kind who uses clothing to show curves. If you look at the rest of the characters the only one who seems to have a natural flow to her body is Rose since of the three she's the only one wearing a relatively tight dress. Well I think it's a dress... looks more like a towel. Lily's dress flares out slightly below the bust giving the illusion of hips and Cyanna's uniform jacket does as well but afterwards her legs just go straight down from the apex of hips and any variation past that point is due to her clothing. The artist knows how to draw a good bust, as in shots depicting the chest, shoulders and head not drawing boobs... although they're also quite good a that, but the rest of the body not so much. That's fine with me, honestly, as no matter how much I might like tits in a game like HC3 the facial expressions are more important and those are on point.

If we're using the fact that she's an elf as an excuse for her lack of hips then explain her tits... As best we know N_Taii does not seem to use the "elves are immortal and elves are super skinny" trope.

I'm honestly not sure what we're supposed to think of Ulrod. Practically ever aspect of his character that makes him an effective NTR antagonist is undercut by something that makes him come across as a pathetic child. I understand that he's not the potential evil overlord like the duke so he has to have obvious flaws but they shouldn't be as all encompassing.
