Overall: 5/5
This game should set the standard for VNs moving forward. Incredible art/animations and sound design. I feel like within the first 10 seconds of the opening already sold me onto the game. The saying "she lies" had me questioning every choice and decision I made throughout the game. The voice acting for Arvenia threw me off at first because I was expecting more a darker tone for the dark queen, but it grew on me over time. Her performance adds a layer of emotional depth and authenticity that elevates every scene she’s in. The subtle nuances in her delivery—whether it’s a trembling voice during a moment of vulnerability or a sharp edge during a confrontation—make her one of the most memorable characters I have seen in my experience playing VNs. Though I wish there were more variety in the dialogue choices, I wasn't disappointed with what I got. I felt immersed in the game's narrative and the characters and that is only possible because the writers knew how to connect the characters with the players.
