v17 has it fixed. (I'm not sure which v17 f95 is showing)
To manually fix it (if you're using a pc)
have your browser active
press f12
click "console" tab and enter into it >>
cl.c.hairLength = 4;
Then hit the display character button (face)

Something in your system is happening that is not allowing it to save to your hard drive. Typically this is because your browser is set to either incognito or private mode.
