Nah, keep it. I like it.The Hermione art is placeholder for now. Im planning on redesigning her with a more petite figure and no bangs.
If it's the real reason than go for it when you will feel like to. It's important that your work will appeal you in the first place, there is no need to force yourself out of your boundaries just because a group of people tells you that the actual one resembles another person art (btw, your version improves the "original" imho, as i already stated before) and in the same way ignore who will cry for keep her as she appears now for whatever reason. Do your game, if it's good people will like the MC anyways don't worry, character design is only a single part of the whole package and won't turn a 5 star game in a 1 star failure by itself. Gamers feedback could be vital for gameplay choices and things like that (especially when those are unanimous) but don't take them too seriously when they are about design or kinks you may want to include in future because everybody here has their own preferences and in the end is more important that your game appeals to you and not a bunch of random f95 users. Its honestly more about me not finding her to be as appealing.
Thank you so much I hope so too, I have been a fan of trainer games and Ren'Py games for years and I always wanted to try making my own. I just didn't find the confidence to start until now. Now I get to tell my own story for you fellow perverts!I've always loved HP trainer games, there are so few of them! I'm not even a HP fan. I hope this one makes it big.
Good. Do not, under any circumstances, give every girl the same body. Or go for all hourglass figures. That's boring, and unsexy. Its honestly more about me not finding her to be as appealing. I want her to look a bit simpler, in line with Snape. The redesign wont happen anytime soon and I'm planning to create a poll for patrons with many different designs. It will include some variety in body shape. So it will be up to the people who support the development to decide how Hermione will look.
Its more about my own vision for the character. Also I will hold a poll with many different design options when I redesign her. I want to make a Hermione everyone is happy with or at least as many as possible.A real shame if this Hermione gets re-designed all because 3 people are crying that she looks ever so slightly similar to another Hermione in another game when it's the same character so obviously the character is going to look similar. If you're one of the people complaining, kindly ignore this thread and move on. She looks great here, and may I say even better than the one he apparently "copied" from. Dev please don't listen to the very loud minority. Please keep her figure too. Petite is meh. Keep her more curvy figure.
What AI are you using?Hi everyone, I am not a developer and do not have the skills to do so. I can only click on buttons and get pictures. Here I want to show you my fanart, which can be done in 2 minutes. Enjoy it all. To the developer I'll give a tutorial : you need to fix your fingers, it's not hard. Spend more than one minute

You going for Ninja Turtle hands?
Funny thing is that the only reason she has an extra finger in the first place is because I didn't notice it. In the flashing pic she also had an extra finger, but I noticed it and removed it with Krita. You:

At this point, I don't have a goal to monetize my content in any way. I am not a developer and I post my AI art to somehow earn on it. But another thing, when you do it with the purpose of further monetization, then you can already think about the high quality of the project! You:

Democracy, IME*, is a terrible way to get variety in your characters. On the account that most people will vote for all the options they tolerate, every time, which results in a very similar appearance every time. Or if it's one-vote-per, they'll just vote in whatever the biggest fetish in the crowd is every single time. You will appeal to the largest possible denominator, but you frequently find yourself appealing to only that denominator. Some things are better left to fiat. Its more about my own vision for the character. Also I will hold a poll with many different design options when I redesign her. Dude's right. There's a saying that goes "Search all the parks in all the cities, you'll find no statues of committees."Democracy, IME*, is a terrible way to get variety in your characters. *Based on quite a long time running quests on the website Fiction.Live, which uses democratic voting for most player decisions. Questmasters who use voting a lot tend towards two very opposed extremes - all lolis, or all beachbody bombshells.
Well all the options will be designs that I personally like and would want in the game so at the end of the day the design will be one that I like and want to work on.Dude's right. There's a saying that goes "Search all the parks in all the cities, you'll find no statues of committees."
Nothing wrong with taking in feedback and catering to demand. But if you give everyone a sliding scale for their idea of perfect and then throw the data in a blender, it'll always result in something that's just average. ("The central point of a dataset" is literally the definition of average.)
Fair enough. I'm waiting a few versions before dipping my toe in, so I'm just going by the banter--but I'd rather see several different designs that represent an artist's range* than a statistical moving-average of his capabilities.Well all the options will be designs that I personally like and would want in the game so at the end of the day the design will be one that I like and want to work on.
