What do you need to do to actually open all the doors in the facility? Do you need to find it at a certain time to open the employe room? They talk about lana forgetting to lock it at night but im not sure how to act on that when the door is still locked when i got there the first time while it was after 18:00 ingame

i played version 1 on milovana (1.6 i think) for a good while until i got bored of it.
Is this is worth a playthrough? it seems like a lot of the images & content is the same. Whats different?

enemies are different, the mechanics are upgraded, more indepth bla bla bla.
idk, i didnt finish the 1st one correctly, i always run out of days and cant complete the game in given time, and only started playing this one due to not having any APKs and had to rely solely on windows version that i cant extract and JoiPlay

HC2 has kinda catched up by now in overall content. there are some new mechanics, but there are still less non-combat encounters, and the changed progression system makes it more grindy in the long run. you'll see some familiar faces, but the fights aren't copypaste. also note that this thread is HC1 and HC2 together. the preview pics in the OP are mostly from game 1. it's probably worth checking out if you liked the original, but imho game 1 is still better.
Will I understand the plot if I didn't play Hero Corruption 1?
don't worry. there isn't really a plot anyway, and both games have the same premise. i guess you coud call HC2 a reboot.

There needs to be a story eventually. Seriously, it shouldn't be that hard to make some contrived story either. The foundation is all there.
Frankly, it's a miracle it's this playable at all. Considering the dev is from a website where most games involve punching oneself in the bollocks to the sound of the metronome, and this is considered normal game mechanics, I wouldn't get my hopes up wrt creative narratives.

This, really asking for a story is really stretching things up, the developer seems much more interested in making mechanics and testing different things, rather than adding a plot...

A plot at this point wouldn't add anything more than just flavor text, both Hero Corruption games aren't really plot heavy games, rather rogue-like games that revolve on rinse and repeat of getting stronger in stats and statchecking everything...

With luck a Hero Corruption 3 game will be made at some point, with more mechanics and the built up that HC 1 and HC 2 has been having, but a plot..? That's like, the last thing on the line of improvements...
