Ren'Py - Hero Party Must Fall [v0.5.2] [Nitrolith]

Good plot, good erotic scenes, gameplay isn't quite existent yet, the vn structure is solid.
the pacing of sex minigame, is a lot faster than the pillow talk events, I had 3-5 additional talk scenes after completing the curse minigame. (This isn't a problem but its disruptive to the immersion.)

Love the game even though there is area that are lacking development (which makes sense considering the game is in development).

10/10 hoping for updates

This game is phenominal. I normally thing reviews which are early are really bad ideas. This one merits it. I could be a contrarian and maybe give this 4 stars and talk about some of the issues I do have, but honestly the art is phenominal. It might, no shit, be the best I've seen in any eroge I've played. Somehow blending pixel art and the depraved nature of the acts you commit basically flawlessly. The story just makes it hotter, which is basically the reason we are here and not at any myriad other porn websites on the internet. The only problems I have with the art is that it might be TOO good and later releases might disappoint. If only all of our issues could be so pressing.

As for the game part, it's...weird. It's clearly in development (which is why I hate early reviews but holy shit the art is just that good). But there are a few points of concern:

1) The dungeon sections are too vague, you can't tell what's happening. This normally isn't that big of a deal, it's even skippable. But I think the intent is to drive in just how much you're stealing from the hero (who is perfectly hateable). This won't be possible when you can't tell what's going on at all.

2) Vi. I actually really like her design (THE ART IN THIS GAME IS SO FUCKING GOOD) but she's a huge nothingburger right now. She needs to be an integral part of the plot sooner in the story, rather than later. She's your perky sidekick and it's implied there is some relationship between you two which is fine; but if you're going to try to tell a story where the protagonist might be swayed by Cecille's amazing body into betraying the demons, there should probably be a compelling demon you would be betraying, not just some member of royalty. Vi just doesn't do anything (early build, I know). It was super weird seeing this story being hinted at early on in the game.

3) The sex system just isn't that deep. It doesn't need to be, but there really could be some polish there. If the game is about you stealing, it'll be that much better when the player feels like his actions are skillful and now just "find the position on the right, hold the mouse button". There's some frustration system in place, but it just doesn't seem like it's better than just mindlessly doing the same thing and waiting for the beautiful animations to finish up.

But these are minor complaints. The game is an easy 5 with the art and the plot with the protagonist and the humans. The scary part is that this game is going to get better as it progresses.

The Dev is inspired by two great games (summer memories and NTR densetsu) and it shows in the gameplay, the UI and the rate of game progression.

The art is also great, but the writing is honestly the best part. It's definitely one of the most well written games I've played on here. The characters are all multidimensional and multifaceted, they have reasonably well built backstories. Where it shines the most is in the dialogue between the different characters.

Never expected an H game to be able to evoke emotions in its storytelling, Kudos, developer. The amount of content in the current 0.2.3 build is also very big compared to other games and I look forward to playing the full build.

Game is really really good. Still an early release so it has a lot of features that need to be expanded upon, but the animations in this game are super clean and well done. Definitely going to keep this one on my watchlist.

This was fun and different. I really got into the art and some of the positions were a delight. Can't wait to see this expanded on, I hope they are others get to test them and out and we watch or join. Great effort.

very promising, the pixel art is great. The story is good, and the character development/fall of the main girl is really well done. The pacing is slow and enjoyable, makes it feel realistic. The way they slowly get to know each other also makes it feel more believable that she will eventually fall for him. Looking forward to future updates.

awesome cast and writing, the dynamic between the differences between the characters is whats most interesting for me. Graphics and gameplay for the lewd sessions are a big plus. Vi and demon queen best girls since they are dooooown for the harem route - hope Erin's mom makes an appearance too ٩(◕‿◕｡)

The game has some amazing artwork that goes along with some decent writing (for a porn game). The corruption aspect is so well done, this is one the best ones out there I'd say. Give a look at the raving reviews that point out all the good things about for a more in-depth review.

This is a diamond already . Lovely art style, beautiful pixel animations and art, so that already warrants a great score - but that's not where the game shines.

The game shines in the fact that it's a netori game. And boy does the author knows netori! Every scene and dialogue is extremely hot. The developer pushes all the right buttons in all the right orders, and it's simply a masterpiece - even as of 0.2. There's not nearly enough netori games among the troves of netorare ones, and among those which are netori they are often copy-pasted honey select titles with basic ass writing.

This game is not like that. This is the corruption game of this site, as of now.

If you're looking for a good netori game with a slow burn, THIS IS IT. The characters are well designed with distinct differences, and it's easy to get attached to them. The scenes are hot and the story itself is well written.

Even in such early stages (v 0.2), Hero Party Must Fall is already a must try.

The story is laser focused on its netori themes, knowing exactly what the players of such a game want to see.
The exact premise has been used a couple of times before, but the general concept is still pretty fresh.

The writing is by far its strongest point, and that's not because the rest of the game is weak: it's because the characters and their dealings are just that well crafted.
You will really feel like you're there, doing the world a favor by cucking the most annoying brat ever imagined.

The art is both charming and functional, oozing eroticism from every frame. If you like pixel art, you'll jerk off to this one.
It even has some nice animation going on.

Great sound design, too. The music and the moans really convey the seediness of the situations.

As far as I can see, no bugs or performance issues of any kind. Still, I've read in the comments that you should avoid any clicking during the transition scenes, so maybe look out for that.

Right now the game isn't exactly overflowing with content, but the dev seems to be working fast and to keep in touch with their community, which is very promising.
And, in any case, there's already enough story to get a solid couple of coooomings out of it.

One of the most promising games in the netori niche. One of its best aspects is the slow burn corruption, which precious few netori games have. Hope the dev adds more locations going forward other than a bedroom (Just around a corner while the other party members are busy fighting , or behind a door while the "hero" talks to sera etc) but other than that, top notch.

This is great netori man. Nothing get me harder than cucking petty insecure little bitch like this "hero", much better than netorare when good honest men get the short end of the stick. Bonus point that the male protagonist isn't some stereotypical asshole "bull" either.
Can't wait till the day priestess realized that getting paired with that creepy ass loser "hero" was the real "curse" all along. It's something that's decided for her too not by her own will so the mc actually save her from both "curses". 10/10 .

Aww man I suck at doing reviews, and I cant really add wat hasn't already been said but here we go... The art style is amazing, the audio AMAZING, THE STORY.... AMAZING, I honestly can't find anything to fault this game on. Its only a 0.2 and I mustve gotten at least 2 or 3 hours out of it. 10/10

Excellent animation, great writing and story progression, and well developed characters. This is gonna be one of the greats for certain.

The NTR is probably one of the strongest aspects of this game, for obvious reason. It's always fun to cuck a loser, but when that loser happens to be a goddess chosen psychopath incel it's even better.

Icredible game, lots of content, good writting, speedy uploads. The game promises numerous fetishes and it really feels like it will deliver on them. The animation puts special enfasis in the amount of fluids spilled and that feels nice

This is a very rare 10/10 game, and it might just be my favourite.
To put it simply, the writing, art, and animations are truly excellent.
The characters aren't one-dimensional, even if the game is netori ( = you steal someone else's girl/s) the main character is very likeable. I can't overstate how surprising and refreshing that is.
I say you just give this game a chance, it doesn't beat around the bush and you'll very quickly realize wether or not you like it.

im very torn about writing a review so early on, since the game is currently in an very very early state, but i have to rate it so more people get to support it, by seeing the amount of stars.

The Art has a style i like a lot that reminds me of a retro aesthetic.
All of the characters look pretty good and i even like the Art a lot of the MC, the gaze he has fits him very well for the situation he has been put in, and fits the dynamic a lot between, raised demon that has to act human vs the priestess that is too kind.
The foreplay scenes so far also look very good, and have a large amount of details put into them.
Most things are also animated in scenes and all sex so far is also animated.

The Story, Main character, and the dynamic between the priestess and the MC is what caught me the most tho, going between the demon that has been raised to destroy the hero's party and the priestess he has to corrupt, him not really knowing what warmth or kindess really feel like, while he is getting exposed to it by the priestess, being fully aware of what he is doing and sometimes even acknowledging, that what he is doing is wrong, while she finally found someone that she can talk to or rely on, since the hero is failing her in their relationship, for me thats the best kind of ntr, i would call it wholesome ntr but my definiton might be fucked up.
Otherwise the writing has been real strong with leaving possibilities open, instead of tunneling to only making the party fail, will we betray the demon king and maybe side with the priestess while bonding with her? Will we overthrow him with the demon queen that acts out of order and seems to be unpredictable in nature since the mc doesnt seem to have any close ties to them, besides being trained to be a spy, will we actually just fullfil our mission, these factors also all contribute to the things i like about this game.

I also love that every night serves as bonding, and him having a therapy like session with the priestess, and how the art portrays both of them, with just his calculating cold gaze being shown, while she unknowingly opens herself up to him, showing her vulnarbilities.

The corruption in this game is also stellar with the maincharacter actively manipulating her on a sexual and emotional level, where he is actively trying to understand and predict her, while also making her depend on him to deepen his trust, not just with his dong, but with his brain.

Im really excited to see the future of this game since i love the premise so far, and i really like the MC.

It has a very interesting story the art is great the girls are good. I can see this being a very popular game when it hits 1.0.

The only thing that I'm not sure of is the UI layout because it isn't fully functional yet.

Played the demo, was incredibly impressed by the intro and the scenes already implemented. Very high quality scenes, nice gameplay ideas and I must say I love the story setting. Can't wait for future content to be added to this game, there are really not that many Netori games out there so this could just be the best out there once it's finished.
