Demon king says it the curse is so powerful it can be used only one time in 100-1000 years, its how im remember it. As I understand it, the curse was specifically somewhere in the temple where the demons that attacked the village were hiding, so Mars did nothing, he is a good guyIs it really? I tried to find some texts about the demons trapping the party with the lust curse but there are no mentions about Mars intentionally cursing them, only that he knew about the true nature of the curse yet refuse to explain to the girls. Even the demon king told us that them being infected with the curse is a one in hundred years chance - I don't think he would be that surprised if that was their plan all along.
It's kind of blowing my mind people are seriously discussing the characters and plot points to this game when it's all super contrived for the sake of the h-scenes. Everything happens for the convenience of plot, there's not much consistency to the characters' motivations or personalities.Hello, how much this game become gay drama from past year?
That's how it always should have been, it's about the feeling not the actual act of cheating. Cheating has historically been its own tag. Netorare fundamentally is about the more dangerous, physical, and taboo option being chosen over the more safe, pure, and society approved one. That differentiation is relatively recent in the west. Netorare was used for many years as a concept that referred to emotional damage. It was very wide and very general. It could imply parenthood, or friendships.
But as it became popular, its fans started choosing what version of it they preferred and more precise concepts popularized.
I don't think it's that deep. The cheating tag is used when the person getting cheated on doesn't know about it, and the Netorare/Netorase/Netori tags get used when the person getting cheated on does know about it and experiences emotional turmoil because of it.That's how it always should have been, it's about the feeling not the actual act of cheating. This game often gets lost in its own plot, the beginning is the best part of it, the middle promises a lot and after that it's an abysmal fall, including in the quality of the art, and to help there are these gay parts that have just turned the game into a parody of the beginning, at least it's not obligatory. It's kind of blowing my mind people are seriously discussing the characters and plot points to this game when it's all super contrived for the sake of the h-scenes. Vanillafags getting mad at this game is a true head scratcher when the story in this game is pretty mediocre NTR to begin with. The player character, Mars, is a gigachad demon-hybrid straight outta someone's deviantart OC whose plot armor continually let's him fuck whoever he wants while the guy getting cucked, Erin, is a tiny-dicked arrogant incel soyboy who has 0 redeeming features apart from being chosen as the Hero. There's very little NTR drama when the obvious choice for the girl is so one-sided like this. Even the flashbacks make Erin look like a jackass and the girls look stupid for ever being into him.
It's a bit of a shame cause the pillow-talk scenes in the first part of the game were actually really good with there being some dramatic tension as the girls were won over gradually from Mars' sexual prowess and charisma despite feeling conflicted. Then it just went off the rails and everyone started acting like a parody of themselves as the game's sexual content spiraled into turbogooner degeneracy.
At some point is just felt like the animations were being drawn first and then the dev wrote the story around those animations.
The only major issue I've found with the game is how the latest story update (tour around the village) wasn't distinct enough depending on the path you chose. For the most part the quality is still there otherwise imo. What the previous speakers said... this game has peaked with the fall of Elena. That arc elevated this game to my #1 pick, but nearly everything since has been hyper-fetishized. The real thrill of stealing is the gradual corruption and breaking of boundaries, the emotional aspect is all but lost now. With the introduction of new characters every update and shoddy AI art it has further fallen into the pitfalls of a dollar store H-game, I'm not even checking for updates anymore.
Well, rant over, if you guys and the dev are into that now then enjoy. I felt like the rug had been pulled under me and had to chime in when I happened to see some people voice a similiar sentiment.
The character-specific endings are still on the way. The current endings are actually for Cecille/Sera only with slight variations. The only major issue I've found with the game is how the latest story update (tour around the village) wasn't distinct enough depending on the path you chose. There's new H events for Iris. Read before flaming dude, it's hard not to expect a lot from one of the best. It's a technical update with revamped map of the town (before the timeskip) and new status screen for all the girls.
No new content, manage your expectations.
The new event for Iris is a secondary route only available if you never got involved with Hilda and the cult. There's new H events for Iris. Read before flaming dude, it's hard not to expect a lot from one of the best.
The plan forward:
Overall, there are still improvements that can be made on the status screens but I'll have to leave that for later, preferably when I work on the training minigame. Looking at how inconsistent the art between training positions, I'll have to redraw everything to be consistent. But that will only be done after the main story is done which is my priority at the moment.
I want to add more maps/areas and give more dialogue to the blue and pink people. To make the village seem more interesting but again, main story takes priority.
Next update:
Next update will be another short one focused on the Demon hunter character as well as adding a mansion map. After the timeskip, Mars relocates to the Baron's mansion so several maps/areas need to be drawn for that.
The drab village square also turns into a more advanced town square, so that needs to be worked on as well...
After that update, I think I'll do the royal family update which will be a longer one. After that we can get to game endings...
I want to do game endings first, take care of the main plot then it's easier to add extra scenarios or optional stuff that could improve the game.
Anyways, let me know what you think!!
Very nice I like his plan, finish the juicy plot and story with some smut in there, build side story and smut around it after and then polish everything from the past. Thanks for the log it's promising. The new event for Iris is a secondary route only available if you never got involved with Hilda and the cult.
I'm not flaming, I'm just telling y'all to manage your expectations for what is an extremely technical update. Because I know it'll eventually get leaked and the thread will swarm with people crying about no new content.
Anyway this is the juicy part of the release post:
