Ren'Py - Heroes University H [v0.2.10.1] [Salmon Run]

Lackluster is what I would call it, though not all bad.

STORY:
First off, the writer doesn't seem to be interested in building characters here, we're basically supposed to fill in the blanks with our knowledge of classical anime stereotypes. Not great.

The premise less than original, but while you could still TRY to do some interesting stuff with a superhero school, this game just ... doesn't. A normal human with a superhuman dick (nope, having a mutated limb somehow doesn't make you a real metahuman, somehow). That's the premise.

GAMEPLAY:
Not bad, per se, but more of the usual stuff. You get a "quest" and go to a person at a given time. There might be some mini-game and then you get a sex-scene. Simple, but uninspired.
Like a quiz about the game world, that has barely been estsablished yet Kinda makes the sand box useless. Also: well designed games like Persona wait to open the sandbox fully until much later, once introductions are done.
And finally, the sex-scenes escalate way too quickly. Again, a good game knows to take things slow at the beginnging, keep you intrigued. Show some skin. Later some kissing, groping, oral ....
But nope. This game blows its load right at the beginning and you have to wonder: where are you supposed to go from here?

VISUALS:
Very uneven. Some backgrounds look like they were made by AI or photos edited with a filter (the woods look like melted metal), others (the campus) seem to be hand-drawn - just not very well.
The character design is uneven, it seems like different artists designed the characters and while that might not bother everyone, it bothers me.
The xxx-scenes are partially animated and while they don't look terrible, they also don't blow me away.

CONVENIENCE:
Yes, you can't enable skipping in the options. Almost all Ren'py games have that option, but I guess this dialogue is just too good to be skipped.

Finally - if you want to be taken seriously as a developer - DON'T plaster your Patreon Link on the in-game UI. That's what the main screen is for.

For some reason the developer disabled the skip for seen and unseen text, that's a point to consider before playing. The art is ok, but it has very few repeatable scenes, and there's too much mini games, I'm yet to meet someone who actually enjoy mini games in porn games, mindless games where you have to click fast as possible or press X key fast as possible, this game has both.

Heroes University is a standard school game where you talk to chicks and get to bang them. Art style wise i wasn't impressed. There were a few nice scenes but most are avarage.

This game started out rough. But as of v0.1.3.5 it seemed to get a lot better. I actually downloaded most if not all of the updates that were posted on this site until now and got to see it develop with my own eyes.

That said, it is worth playing it and it is worth watching it grow. It got to be this very hot game with some likable characters and charismatic moments. Even if most of the girls in here seem to fill a cliche they are still enjoyable and there is not much grind to it to get their scenes and that serves this game good.

I really like the art on it and also the animations are simple but really well made, that is a big plus. Recommended for sure and I am looking foward to get more of it.

The big downside on it is the save system: it makes you replay the game with every update. Updates are far apart and the game is still short so it is not much of a bother for now, but it will be later on. Please fix this.

TL;DR: good game that went from meh to good and it keeps getting better. Animated hot scenes with good art already a decent number of fetishes.

I love this game art and the dialogs/story are fun, but i hate have to REPLAY the entire game because the old saves don't work, this should be fixed, and the updates are like every 2 months and with 2 scenes, so are very slowly

As a mobile player, i'm feeling like a god by winning maki's sport-game without using some kind of cheat. That part of ping pong and running was really hard. But It makes the game really enjoyable, and the history and art are good too. I Will look forward for next updates

Really looking forward to future versions, great art, nice setting and as of now no grinding, tho the chistmas mini game was a bit annoying but doable. It already has quite a few scenes all of them great. The current public version teasers future parts of the map wich i am excited to see what they are going to do with them

The story is simple but entertaining, with characters that could be developed better but since it's an early release I hope there will be further details about them and their story.

Pretty straight forward and simple game mechanics, really enjoyed the implementation of minigames. The missions are rewarding (hehe). A small downside of this part are the instructions given through the telephone menu, they could be developed better, but there is time to do that.

Now for the part I enjoyed the most: graphics.
Absolutely loved the style of the artist, it's refreshing to see a game like this in the middle of a bunch of games with the same models used over and over again.
The animations can be improved but I liked them a lot too.

Overall deserving 4 stars, maybe 5 once the game is completed.

Bad Points
- Actualy girls/women looks decent but they only look good in some of scenes and espacily in sex scenes they look awful...
- We have some repeating bugs and typos.
- Well we have animations but they are far from being good... They are not attaractive at all nor sexy. Espacily Galya's first sex scene was... Oh my god... While her drawing looks pretty hot seeing that terribly animated sex scene was big disappointment... And her second scene happened while our dick flying on air and our body was invisible... Yeah... Not creepy at all...
- Aside from having bad animations sex scenes dont have any different angle and they always have one animation and one angle/position which is even worse than having bad animations... Only 1-2 of them have ''Chance position'' button which only give you another different position and its still not good enough because position angles looks pretty bad...
- There is no skip or back to old dialogue option for text... Seriously?!

For The End
Game have potencial but its wasting by those bad points... Sad to see this game didn't achive things potencialy can when its first came out. I gave this game 4 star for first relase, it was promissing but looks like we are not gonna reach that star rate quality in any future...

Very Good Game so far, nice animations which i didn't expect at all even after reading the tags, nice looking characters NOT A VISUAL NOVEL which is a GOOD thing and CHARACTER creation, like WHAT ? The only thing i can't comment on is the story i NEVER give a single fuck about it, like who the fuck picks up an Hentai game for the story ? Not me !

Holy shit already loving this game. I don't comment that much here but this game made me do it. Art looks so great, animation is smooth, story is you know from an anime so can't be that bad. If the devs of this game continue working like this it will be 1 of the best game here.
