really hope the project continues in a similar manner, obviously they'd have to make changes but the art, dialogue, and atmosphere is great

They are remaking everything, squishing 17 levels into 12 (im pretty sure) and changing the name from Sunken veil to something else. For now its just called Project Hadal. Seems like they plan to properly separate themselves from Salvor Deep (obviously still their inspiration but now more as its own game and less a remake or re-imaging of Salvor deep). Also, they got a new patron set-up.

i love the art in this game so much dude and the game is so well polished compared to Salvor, it just sucks its almost a 1-1 copy level and gameplay loop wise. I feel like yall have so much more potential than copying something else

Unfortunately Num is no longer working on the game, it has been renamed from Sunken Veil to Project Hadal to respect the wishes of Num to no longer be involved in the game. The discord link for the current development discord of Project Hadal was already posted several times on this thread if you're still interested.

Hey guys! I've been meaning to make this post I just kept forgetting My name is Num3rical the creator of Sunken Veil. Me and the other devs Rince [Lead code], Mel [CG], and Rio's [Animation] are all working hard to hopefully have our project out to you all next month sometime! I will leave some animations and CG and other concepts we've made so far for you guys. Other then that I want to say thank you to the F95 community I really am excited to share the game with you all, I have been a member for almost half a decade, but after all that time finally wanna give back ;_; I really wanna make a game that excites everyone, one that raises the bar of quality for nsfw gaming, but most importantly one you can all enjoy. For years I have been here as a pirate, and I still even as a game dev very much advocate that culture shouldn't be only for those who can only afford it.
