Hi! I'm developing a challenging porn game

Hi,

Just wanted to introduce myself here. I got into the community a few months ago with some of the staple porn games (Summertime Saga in particular). There was a lot of the game that really appealed to me, but mostly I really enjoyed the feedback loop when progressing the character relationships.

I'm a bit of a masochist, so I find it fun when gameplay progression is hidden behind difficult (but satisfying) puzzles and gameplay elements. So I've been developing a porn game! My aim is to fill a lot of quality content behind fun and interesting gameplay. Right now, I think there's a void for porn games where the rewards are hidden behind interesting gameplay.

The main features for my game are:
* Realtime first-person 3D gameplay. I'm using Unity for the game engine, and CC4 to create good looking characters.
* Well-written and believable characters. One of my main gripes with a lot of porn games is that they all use the same tropes. It doesn't matter if the MC is socially awkward and responds with one word phrases, because he has a big dick! I think a game with believable characters would be more enjoyable to play. Getting laid should take serious work!
* Difficult but rewarding gameplay. Imagine how much better you would get at chess if the cute chess girl in the neighborhood is impressed more by your ELO than your member?

I'm close to a working demo for the above, but I'm not sure if I can post a very WIP demo on to the games page here?

Happy to chat more if this interests people, and I'm also happy to share some of the things I've learnt whilst developing this. Most of my experience is in software engineering, with some game dev. So I have a good handle with Unity now. I've picked up a lot with CC4 and Daz, too.

I'm always down to see what devs are up to! I do agree with your points of having some difficult gameplay but it being fun and ultimately rewarding. Do you have a name for you project and what is the main concept for it? Also if you have a way to support you?

Right now the idea is about a virgin high-schooler who wants to progress from virgin to chad. It's going to be set in a small neighborhood. It's a bit overdone, but I think there's a ton that can still be done in that setting. Lots of houses and rooms that can be unlocked, rumors and mysteries to uncover, etc. I've been adding some sort of day/night cycle with characters having different routines at different times of day, which should make it fun to discover everything that might happen in the neighborhood.
My working title is 'Hot Milfs And Their Daughters In My Local Area', because I thought it sounded funny, haha. I'm just starting to create a Itch.io & Patreon page where I can post a first build and updates. I'll post that here too once they are created!

That sounds like a fun idea! It's fine that the concept has been done to death as long as you have some fun ideas and a good execution I don't see the harm. I do like the "alive" neighborhood it's a fun idea to have some other things to do besides just have sex. Love the title lol very funny. Awesome can't wait to see your page!
