Unity - Hidden Realm of the Enchantress [v0.17] [T.F.A.N.C.S]

Compared to the prior two games from the same Developer, this is a huge step up. While there are some small gripes the core gameplay is there, and more importantly, it's not holding back the really smooth animations. As a vehicle for the porn, it does well.

It's certainly going to be only people with a taste for this exaggerated smooth style of cartoony art with an emphasis on shape rather than fine detail, but I personally like it, and all the better if the focus on shape and shading makes it easier to put in more animations for the game.

In the prior title from the dev, "Charm Commerce", there was clearly an ambition to make something satisfying with depth, but the burdensome menu and unclear design and controls made an otherwise pleasant concept feel like a chore. Hidden Realm has taken huge steps forward, some of the menu elements are still a little rough for the consumables menu, but unlike with CC it's easy enough to get past and get used to it quickly, leaving the main game at your disposal to enjoy without difficulty.

The game is already nearing something a complete state, so with a few more content additions and rounding out of existing content, and maybe a post-game cutscene and maybe NewGame+ system if the Dev is feeling generous, it'll be set as a game that is well above the average standard for porn games.

Waaaay too repetitive , you will get bored in something like...10 minutes or less, once you know there is just 1 scene per character, the "battle fuck" mecanics are literally not "battle fuck" tbh, and it really gets slow.

Probably deserves an 2 star instead of one, since is really too damm simple; so why 1 star? because yes. Sleep simulator

Usually I'm silent and picky, I don't comment, don't rate, and delete the game the instant I find it not meeting my expectation
But this game fits my taste so well, it becomes one of few games I can either fap on so comfortably, or play without getting tired
Dev if you ever see this, kudos to you, and please make more, update it, add content, I want it so bad

It ain't hard, if something i find hard to actually die after a first run, variety of skills and objects combo, skills and skill combo, I hate the objects UI, obtaining skills and objects is easy as it happens per fight, rest stops are generous, you can easily stunlock into infinite combo all enemies or make them heat attack instead of HP attack depending on if your heat and lust is high or low.

doesn't have a gallery which is actually a pain as you can't control which enemies you gonna fight.
Will most likely consider it a 5 star game once completed tbf.

The gameplay is a strategic turn based combat where you acquire random skills on every run, to actually win you need to get a few very specific skills which you can't win without. Oh and also, it's an infinite dungeon without any checkpoints, if you die you start over. The only reason I give 2 stars and not one is because the H-scenes are nicely made, but none of this matters,

This game has good art and really good gameplay (if not a bit unbalanced and poorly explained), which art alone can carry a good eroge, but the gameplay on top seals the deal. I think this game feels a bit too unfinished to be an 0.9 version of a project though. No sense of progression, a few too many unfinished animations, and poor relaying of information are the big caveats here. I have faith in this project though and I hope it gets completed, because the qualities needed to be great in this scene are here, they just need to spend more time in the oven.

A cute game in the style of (Id say) a card builder. Solid gameplay loop, and solid erotic content, though a considerable amount of it is missing in the form of yet-to-be-added domination scenes from winning a fight, most notably the bosses. Speaking of, theres a few things that makes it pretty clear its not a full release, such as the aforementioned lack of a bunch of scenes, and a lack of an ending (it just loops you back to the start once you get to the last floor). However, all in all it is a very solid framework which makes me look forward to any future updates. Very much worth a try if you'd like to spend an hour away.

Another small game from T.F.A.N.C.S, this time in the vague style of a card-based dungeon-crawly RPG. You get thrust into a dungeon full various sexy monster ladies and have to battle (or molest) your way through them all, collecting new abilities and items as you do.

Unfortunately, in its current state, this game is more of a basic framework than an actual fully-fledged game. For one thing, there's no tutorial, which is a shame because there's some important things the game just absolutely does not tell you. For instance, how to actually confirm your actions/items, or the core mechanic that allows you to convert commands into items. Most other info can be sort of gleaned through tooltips, but they don't always explain clearly, and there's still a lot of rules you may be forced to remember at a time.

In terms of erotic content, it's actually pretty alright. All the character sprites (both you and the enemy) are animated and change dynamically based on their armor and health. The sexual attacks tie into gameplay well enough and makes dominating enemies rewarding and fairly self-sufficient. Every enemy has one "domination" scene you can get (except for the enemies that just don't have one yet, lol), but there's such a variety of enemies that actually seeing all the scenes in a single run is unlikely.

I don't want to speak too much of the balance for a game that clearly isn't finished yet, but the gameplay loop is obviously skewed towards erotic tendencies. There's a higher variety of normal skills versus erotic ones, but erotic skills are often vastly better because they allow you to completely avoid needing to deal with armor at all. And while recovering health and armor can be tricky, reducing your lust and pleasure rarely are, so long as you manage it carefully.

Speaking of not finished yet, let's talk about what the game doesn't have. For one, the aforementioned lack of a tutorial that explains the important mechanics. For another, the gallery function doesn't work, so you can't yet view any scenes at your leisure. Although you're able to gain levels from winning fights, there doesn't seem to be any benefit for doing so, which makes me wonder if there's meant to be some feature there or not. Finally, the game has no end; I played until I reached a dungeon "exit" multiple times, and upon reaching the fourth "exit," I was set back to the beginning of the game. On top of all that, there also seems to be some various bugs, such as certain skills not working as advertised (or some potential game-breaking stuff I haven't noticed).

You can give this game a try if you like a taste, but I'd advise just waiting for the full release if you're interested. I think there's potential here, but we'll have to see how it ends up.

Review of Version 0.9

You are thrown into a dungeon? Labyrinth? Parallel dimension? Does not matter. There are sexy monster girls to dominate!

Cons:

-Placeholders. So you get to beat a monster girl and dont even get a sex scene from it. I would not implement it if there is no real reward. Like you are always not sure if you even get a scene after beating the enemy and this is not a good feeling. And if you get 2 or 3 enemies you can only chose one to fuck. The rest explains itself.
- The protagonists dick is way to big. It looks very comical und ridiculous.
-Some monster combinations are unbeatable.
-Armor is too important since you cant regain it with any skill. Makes longer runs way to impossible. In later stages a enemy party of 3 is almost everytime certain doom.
-Rogue like. You try you lose you try again. Normally in a rogue like you get something for playing. A little progress so it does not feel like wasted time. I only expected unlocking the animations you encoutered. Would be a good idea in my eyes. Beat the enemy, fuck em and unlock their animations so you do earn something from your playthrough. But no. you get nothing. No perma skills, no stat boosts, no animations. You are actively wasting time to gain nothing.
-The music.Tthe loop gets annoying quick. Either choose a song loop less obvious or a song that fits to be a background. In the entire game there is only one song.
-In fullscreen mode I could not read the explanation for some enemy statuses and some of my attributes descriptions like "power".

Pros:

+Great variety of body types and real monster looking monster girls. Not only women with cat ears.
+Great variety of positions (even if I would love more vaginal penetrations)
+Great animation. Enemies react to damage, your character reacts to damage. Both react to seduction etc. This really makes the combat more alive. Thats something I critisized in "Spirit Valley". They could take a few inspirations from this one.
(+I still like T.F.A.N.C.S art style and animations.)
+One hand-playable
+Well coded. Did not encounter any bugs or crashes. Also the entire UI is clean and good. The abilites are well explained. Without a tutorial I could learn the game by playing and reading. Not every game needs a tutorial I like that. The creator does not think that Iam a total idiot and I cant figure out things myself.
+I like that there is no story. Just gameplay and sex. Thats enough for me (even if the gameplay is sadly lacking in this one)
+Generic fitting sound effects.


I am a bit disappointed. I like T.F.A.N.C.S style of art and if he had polished the brothel game it could have been amazing. I even tried to tell him that in the feedback of his discord. But it was more like "I hear your feedback....", but he did not actually change anything. Many people for example called for creampies. He just did not want to do it, since he had to rework the animations and that takes to much time. Personally investing time in a project to improve it is way better than lacking the skills to do so. or not knowing what to improve on. So instead of updating and improving your games the creator decided to rush to the next game and the next genre. And this one being v0.9 I feel for the same destiny. It has a real good base but need more polish and work to be really good.

The game lacks content, but I like it and I think it's promising. Even if they didn't improve anything else, just having a gallery available (which it doesn't have yet) and putting in a tutorial or a guide would be enough to make it a good game, but if they add extra content this could be quite remarkable. I haven't seen a roadmap so I'm not sure what will happen with it, but given its potential I think it could be a well-deserved 4/5 without any problems.

About the game itself, you unlock skills of 2 main types, defeat enemies and fuck the monster girls you defeat, simple, if you die you start over like in rogue-like games.

it's a cute little game with a good amount of variety in enemy types and a sweet art style, would like a little more depth in gameplay but it isn't finished so il give it a pass, check it out and support the creator
