Never use ryuugames they are a advert website disguised as a game pirate site every link wont work and if it did it didn't cause now you have a virus the only link guaranteed to work is the one you pay for and your better off just buying the game or using another site. Personally i use and with kimochi being the better site due to downloads not being slowed to try and make you pay BUT kimochi tends to usually be a day or two behind hentai sharing

Not really, the ads can give you virus, but their downloads, if you can reach them are legit. Now, the thing is, they just repack as is, and since sometimes they source from here or other early leakers, they can repack a virus-changed game without realizing because, again, they just repack without testing.

I tried on a laptop the torrent from nyaa for that game and that was also flagged with the same thing so it might just be the game it self. I don't know why the developer released it like this or it's just truly a false positive. I played other games with similar or same engine and never got this before.

the game gave off netorase vibes
he already knows he's going to get cucked if he fails to gather enough magic
he enjoy the curtain scenes( for some reason, the dev decided to hide half of the screen with the mc jerking off to the curtain)
the fmc tells the mc what she did to the bull and it visibly makes him excitied
it does have hidden elements, but i dont see the point for the reasons above
Now that i've finish the game twice, i admit it's not that good, despite the that like these curtain/silhouette stuff and hidden scene.
The fact that the dungeon was unfinishable without Mtool add to this obviously.

You can see the scene from the girl pow in the recollection room but i bet you already know that.

I got a crypto miner from this because I made the mistake of running raw on my machine instead of using a sandbox. Game works and can be completed but whatever you do DO NOT RUN THIS WITHOUT A SANDBOX
Yeah me too lmao. it suddenly run a cmd in the background while using 2 gb of ram. Scary, I had to scan my pc with malwerebytes to get rid of it. The ryuugame get the link from a guy here. Wait, let me search for it.

Here's the link with the virus:

Was there anything other than the miner? I'm currently nuking my entire main machine and re-installing windows fresh but I'm just trying to figure out how paranoid I should be about my email accounts, etc.

You should run a full scan with Malwarebytes. The threat appears to have only created a registry entry designed to launch a hidden cryptocurrency miner in the background.

For extra peace of mind, monitor your system's RAM usage. If you don't notice any unexplained missing memory OR a process (like a terminal) consuming 2GB or more, you can be confident the system is clean.

I would look out for other versions of the game as the one I got from a torrent from nyaa it also had it but it might be from the same guy. I would have to actually buy the game to test if that has it as well but I'm not going to do that after 2 times. Is Malwarebytes good at detecting stuff? I'm just used to my Kaspersky.

I haven't used Kaspersky personally, so I can't speak from experience. However, like many antivirus programs, I suspect its paid version is significantly more effective, while the free offering is quite limited. That's where Malwarebytes really stands out, its free version is genuinely capable and effective at detecting malware.

As someone who got hit with a more malicious software (infostealer) from a repackage in ryuugames, I can definitely recommend Malwarebytes in its free version; it really helped out detecting unnecessary malware.

I would also recommend using more than one just so you are double safe though; I used my current Windows Defender, RogueKiller Anti-Malware and Malwarebytes to help completely clear out the malware. Unfortunately the damage was done from their end and it was a major pain in the ass changing passwords / locking accounts for everything.

To be honest. I do think Ryuugames has virus. After a few days downloading Mazecave 2 to try it. My PC is experiencing crashed and complete freezes, and no amount of Command Prompt works neither attempt to fix Win11. So yes....do please be aware.

And i had Bitdefender. Fore Win11 rejected after building my new PC, causing constant crashes.

Please be careful what you download. At least have solid Anti-virus program and always do PC cleaning and maintenance to make sure you do not get into the same situation or similar as me.

Take care.

You should be okay then; not all of the games there are repackaged with a virus but you should be wary of any if you use ryuugames. I personally now avoid downloading anything outside of F95ZONE because the mods do a good job checking it. Or you could use sandboxie.

Unless they changed the link after I downloaded a few days ago I'm 100% sure the ryuugames version is contaminated. I got mine from there and had to deal the cryptominer.
The miner only runs when your computer is online and it stops the second you open task manager or alternative task managers like process explorer. Thankfully it seems to be hardcoded to detect the those process by name so I changed the name of my process explorer to something else and was able to see it in action. It was using around 30% of my CPU and 2-3GBs of ram.
If you can't detect it using an antivirus try searching your OS drive for *.exe files and then sort them by size (this is going to take a while btw). It should be a 650MB exe file created sometime after the time you ran the game the first time.
