She has real friends and real actual boys who wanna talk to her about stuff she likes/does.

Yeah but come on as much as I do not overly care for Charlotte she has done a lot of growing in the last update or 2, but Suzi and Emma are still just children.

Renders look fantastic, but other aspects of the game suck. First of all, what the fuck is up with all the lesbian stuff? There is no tag for it, yet most of the content in this game is between 2 women. Thread needs a ''lesbian'' and a ''multiple protagonist'' tag. And the other thing is just that the game is plain boring. The point of visual novels is not to make a linear story, but give the player a story that changes according to your decisions. All the choices you make in this game are pointless. Game is very boring. Definitely not for me.

I can see what you mean, but I wouldn't even say he dumped her cause she decided for herself to leave and I can understand why the game always shows us how she likes him so much, it is to make us dislike him even more
This game caught my eye a while ago but I've been putting off playing it for a while, waiting for a reasonable amount of content to be developed before giving it a try because I don't think it's fair to judge anything that doesn't have enough content to get a real feel for to make an objective appraisal, be it a tv series, game or anything that is released periodically, and now I wish I hadn't started it.
The reason for this....one word.....WOW! There are games I get from this site that I play for various reasons. Some I play because they are a quick cheap thrill, some because they are good fun with a bit of naughtiness thrown in to spice them up, some because they tailor to kinks (within reason) that aren't as readily available elsewhere (I'm looking at you female protag corruption genre) and some because they have pretty good stories.
But this one.....there are very few of these games, in my experience, that get me invested as deeply in the characters, provide deep emotional rollercoasters while still being fun and making you laugh, are sexy without being in your face pornfests (not that that is always a bad thing), have great well thought out writing and hav a male protag that is actually genuinely likable (cos let's face it, most of the male protags in these games are horny idiots with oversized dicks who just want to fuck everything that moves) all in one package.
There are a lot of games on here that I like for various reasons, but I can count on one hand (maybe a finger or 2 more) the games I've played here that I consider to be truly epic in every sense....Acting Lessons, Being a DIK, Melody, Good Girl Gone Bad, Leap of Faith.....these are games that have truly blown my mind when playing them......and this has now joined their ranks.
The reason I wish I hadn't started it? Because, now, it's another one on that short list that more content can't come quick enough for and I'm desperate to see finished and that 'completed' tag can't come soon enough.....or be far enough away because I just wan't it to keep going.

Just to get it out of the way, well into the story is exactly when you can easily do diverging paths, as there wont be as much story to do until the end, and really it's about time we get some actual choices outside of which LI to pursue.
Killing Carter isn't the poorly written part, its how it was done that is the problem, many parts of that scene were poorly done,
-first MC's gun should have been out during the fight,
-second Carter says he was expecting the mc to arrive but only brought a knife
third he let go of Emma too easily, and Emma was an important protection for him
how i would have done it:
Carter knifes Zak, does after Emma, he gets to her and grabs her, mc and charlie arrive, Carter taunts the mc, and doesn't let go of Emma, knife to the neck and a pistol at his hip, MC takes out his gun, and points it at Carter, charlie freaks out, MC asks her to trust him,
after this i see two options:
- Mc is a badass and headshots the f***
Option two:
Mc signal's Emma/Emma decides on her own to stomp his feet with her heels, and as soon as she runs he shots him down.
there could also be a lets brawl path but it would have to be better setup

First of all, welcome.
Second, I also love the diversity between games, reason why I don't expect or even want to compare one to another.
Third, That is a really nice review. Even though it has no sex scene so far, at least nothing much, I also enjoy what this VN has to offer. it is just like you said, it gives you a rollercoaster of feelings and is still fun and interesting. I kind of like most of other VNs you mentioned, and the reason why I like this one is because it gives me something unique, just like the other ones.
Most of games or developers tend to follow a trend or try to copy some story or mindset that from other games and they end up becoming repetitive and annoying. Reason why I have 50 dead fathers through all the mcs on most games. They all start with: "your father died and you are now in a house with your landlady or stepmom" lol. Can you imagine? I had to endure the death of 50 dads and I have to take care of 50 landyladies and stepsisters/roommates. That is a lot of responsability.
Anyway, I am glad you finally found this one.
