i get that but as far as i know we haven't seen Zak paying any attention to Emma one way or the other, if he's actually interested in her or not so without that indication it's kinda hard to understand for me why he would do that at this point in the game, but i maybe need to replay it either way to pay more attention to it

either way DarkBlue said to me we will see more about this in the next update so we'll get at least some insight in to this, but your theorie seems very likely to me at least

As HillsideVN says, he has looked at her a couple of times but if he hadn't, he doesn't need to show any interest, he just has to manufacture a scenario where she's so beaten down by the bullying that he can swoop in and "save the day" so that she'll see him as some knight in shining armour. The irony is that he doesn't need to go this far because she was already so infatuated by him, but I guess he's just a really sick individual.

Sorry for the delay in announcing the next release date. I planned on announcing it last weekend but have been dealing with some personal issues.

DEVELOPMENT NEWS
While working on the last update I was also trying to re-render most of the old frames and move Hillside to 1080p resolution. Unfortunately, I didn't manage to get it finished in time for the v0.7 release.
But, I've been working on it over the holidays and it should be completed by the end of this week. That means the next release, v0.8, will be in 1080p resolution.

hmmm just played this the first time and although it was good i don't know if it deserves 3rd place, nothing happened really and im not talking about porn for once, things are getting good but i don't think id call it a 0.7 which would be nearly done with 1.0 being finished with everything past that being edits or addons, it was short, really short compared to what i was expecting, granted the story is intriguing but nowhere near top tier compared to other games on here like summers gone or being a dik i would go on but i don't want to be that guy advertising, its got a good plot but like i said when i downloaded a 0.7 i was expecting a much longer game and story earlier i downloaded a game at 0.11 that was 3x the length and great writing as well, so was a bit of a let down considering the reviews and raves about it, if im being honest it feels like a 0.3 where shit is just getting into the story and the plot is starting to take off

my experience is over 100 of these visual novels based on "achievements" this is basically a 0.2 if you knew what i was talking about you wouldn't be trying to talk shit so much, the game is good but nothing amazing its got nice character development but its still in the super early stage nowhere near 0.7, and that number is based on development dont compare it to an idiot with no clue how to place it, this game is in the early stages still with so much to complete still its got 3/4 of the "achievement" spots still blank for future updates and why i said what i did.
your allowed to love a game or a dev but don't be stupid about it

0.7 here does not mean that the game is 70% completed. The game according to what I know from the story progression is only 30-40% done. There are a lot games here that go on to v0.10, v0.11, v0.12 and so on till it is completed whatever number that version may be. Just take a look at the many games here and their weird version numbers.

trust me i get it, i was just saying this is no where near a 0.7 as i said it was more of a 0.3 at first which as you said is close to the 30% mark and based on achievements its mostly correct, mainly annoyed due to the one hour of game play when i expected hours because of the 0.7 even corrupted kingdoms being a 0.8 improperly marked even has hours of gameplay even if you cheat and ignore the sandbox portion it just pissed me off when im expecting a meal and get a light snack, i dont even need sex LoML is a good example of what i mean but mainly i enjoy story more then "plot" and just as it starts to take off its over, so thats why i complained about 0.7, not trying to be the asshole but when i get called out for bs reasons it pisses me off if you can understand why

i get that as ive said before i play hundreds of these vns, but when i see it made a 3rd place in anything, i assume its got the content length to back it up, lol its like ending a Simpsons episode at the couch gag though, and why i felt let down at a 0.7 i can understand it, i mainly got annoyed at someone wanting to call bs against valid reasons, honestly if i wasn't continually quoted i wouldn't be replying or posting anymore although i find the story interesting its going to be a couple years for a decent amount of content probably
