Just a quick update.
V0.9 isn't going to be released in the next 12 hours(at least), so please don't wait around for it.
I'll release it as soon as I can, but if it is a couple of hours late then I apologize in advance.
It's about 25% larger that the last update so it's taking me a little longer to get it all finished and checked.

Thanks,
DB

You still miss the point.

Nobody hires someone when everything is fine, it makes no sense.

It's obvious something is going on when the man hating woman hires a live in guard. I'm pretty sure if that was my mother, pretty big warning signs would be flashing because it's completely out of character for someone that has a known hatred of men to hire a man and have him live in the house with her daughter.

Doesn't matter what excuse she gives, it's still painfully obvious to anyone that something is wrong.
Oh, sure, you have a point there, but this is what is obvious to you, not to Charlies daughters. Anyway, this is what we are being told by the writer.

What Charlie told her daughters was that she hired a security guard because there was some kind of a crime spree going around in the neighborhood. Break-ins and robberies or something like that. So she hired a security guard to protect the house and obviously also everyone who happens to be in the house, especially for when she is away working somewhere and Emma is home alone.
This is what Emma knows and what Suzi knows at the time they meet the new security guard. The crime spree is the reason for hiring a security guard.

And at the time Suzi finds out about the security guard being hired and him taking over her bedroom (!), I don't think that a hot-head like Suzy has enough time to think about what Charlie said about the reason and question her motives. The single thought in her head at the time is that her room has been taken over by some "pervy old guy" and her mother has kicked her out of her room!
This is the only thing that she can think about then and for several days after that.

Of course it doesn't make sense later when the "security guard" starts to act as a bodyguard, following Emma everywhere and escorting Charlie on important events, but this is not what the girls know at the time.
Emma is naive and she won't give a single thought about her mothers motives or her words about hiring this "security guard", even when MC starts to act as a bodyguard for Emma, but this is also something that Suzy doesn't know before Emma tells her about it much later.
Only after finding out about it is when Suzi starts to realize that Charlie didn't tell her the truth about hiring a security guard for the house. Only then she puts 2 and 2 together for the first time, thinking now that there is something more going on, that Charlie wants to keep a secret. And since the MC keeps following Emma and acting as her bodyguard, she and her roomie are thinking now that this whole ordeal must have something to do with Emma needing protection from something or someone.

This is what has been going on until now. Sure, Suzi isn't as sharp as Miss Marple to realize that there is something more going on sooner. She's young and hot-headed and really-really very angry, "The Hulk angry" at her mom and the MC. And maybe it's a bit of a plot hole, but this is what we have been told so far by the writer.

Anyway, why do I have to retell you the story? Ava, have you been a bad girl and skipping the text? :sneaky:

IMHO, from what I've seen, you seem to be a bit hot-headed yourself, compared to me at least. It may be one of the reasons I like you ;)

I might be a bit hot headed on very rare occasions ....... swiftly moving on.

This is my point about Suzi, if she took a minute to think about something other than herself none of it would add up.

Even if her mother had taken someone in because of a crime spree, it wouldn't be a man unless something serious was going on and she was desperate. She would have taken in female security. A local crime spree isn't serious enough to have her mother bring in someone she knows she wouldn't like and have him live with the daughter she's wrapped in cotton wool.

I've read the text and it's that text making Suzi look like the most self centred and selfish people i've come across in these VN's.

It's one thing being angry, I get angry, Suzi is also pretty dense and when she tries to add 2 + 2 she gets Potato.

I can take the writers words at face value but that stretches disbelief a bit much when it comes to Suzi, there are too many alarm bells about the whole situation that she takes this long to realise something may be up.

That and she's dumb enough to send nudes online to someone she doesn't know and put herself in the situation to be blackmailed. That will always be a dumb thing to do.

Another douchenozzle comes out to play. Makes me wonder if this is someone that's already gotten banned, and like the others, hasn't learned its lesson yet. Just go away sewer rat. Go back to playing with the maggots in your sewer sandbox.

oh, by the way...IGNORE

It's probably always the same retarded trolls who sign up with new fake accounts and unload their frustration here.

Guys,

since last 2 updates came out 1 week after the announced release date, I wholeheartedly tell you: please don't start freaking out if it doesn't come out tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

Be patient. Be strong. No dramas. :coffee:

And be very excited. Certain things in this game might finally be discussed between the MC & Charlotte. Could be a turning point episode.

You're right, things might take another turn, but I think in the picture that DB posted a while ago that Charlotte was avoiding looking into Mc's eyes, I think they wouldn't talk in the sauna.
Yeah, or one of them blew up at the other. Maybe he pushed her for answers? Or she pushed him? Going to get worse before better?

I hope not, it felt like we just made a turn in Emma moving to be into the MC, it would be good for Charlotte to start being less hostile towards us, well unless we have to say sorry.
