Ever heard of a bodyguard waiting for permission to guard and fend for his VIP?
MC is not proactive .. he is only reacting to seeing Emma at knife point and heeding the threats to her life. He needs a game plan if he is ever going to make a difference.

Ever seen a bodyguard not knowing what to do and letting things escalate to beat her up proportions? Over reacting after the things got to the worst possible scenario: that might get you the coveted scenes.

Agreed, i also had a similar opinion a couple of times while playing the game. He is supposed to be a former soldier a bodyguard etc, but he is acting like the biggest pussy ever. I mean seriously, whatever Charlotte does, all the stupid things she does and the way she treated him for no reason, he somehow always finds some excuses why she did it, and how he understands her.
I mean we all love Charlotte (at least i think so) but man she can act like a bitch sometimes. No matter what he has done for her she STILL finds a reason to doubt him, etc. I love the game, but bro it can really get annoying.
So a message to the MC, start acting like a man and take her already, or leave her, if she is not ready to trust you after all you did for her. This is getting ridiculous, i expect that FINALLY in the next update she lets him get closer, i mean phisically. Not sex obviously, but at least a freakin kiss, i think he deserved it for everything he did for her family.

They are bots, you know? Whether or not we talk about them they'll do the job they have been scripted, also reporting them helps the mods to identify them quicker nothing else. I don't think they'll get any notification one way or another.

As for Joshy, why not?

I'm surprised no dev on here has made a game about Joshy yet, he's given them more than enough material across various threads.

if this was real life id be okay with being friendzoned , since to me being there for someone you care about matters more than trying to start a romance or have sex. Sure maybe that approach might stop you from ever starting a romance , but I rather be there for someone I care about first and foremost. Cause after everything that has happened would be hard not to care for someone like Charlotte for me personally. Even if she belittled me from time to time because Id be understanding of her trauma and wouldn't take it out on her but talk to her about it after she calms down after a day or 2.

Well yeah anyone would quit probably the first week unless they needed the money. But this is assuming you don't quit you know. Even me and im a super passive person would probably quit tho a passive person like me wouldn't be suited to be a bodyguard either. But we are assuming quitting isn't an option and you go through the motions like in the story. I wont deny im a bit of simp sometimes not like Joshy . In this case I cant agree that just being there for someone you end up caring about is being a simp to me that's called being a good human being and friend. You don't always need to get something in return if it's someone you consider a friend or care about unless you are being selfish. At least i wouldn't expect to get something in return other than a paycheck for doing my job if I was the MC.

I see where youre coming from, i guess its just hard for me to consider the relationship between the mc and charlotte a "friendship". I would say its closer to romance than real friendship even when you decide to not go for her lmao

And its hard to establish a proper friendship with someone who employs you because they are never equal and Charlotte lets him know this over and over again. It lacks appreciation, trust, loyality and mutual (!) understanding and care for each other to consider them being friends.

Its even the opposite, when in doubt, Charlotte usually takes a position which paints the mc in a bad light which is the last thing you should do when it comes to your friends.

I feel like in their case a romance seems easier to establish than being friends and imo the only thing which somewhat excuses the mc's simpy behavior is the fact the he's in love with her and thinks charlotte is in love with him too, he just needs to make her feel safe to realize it.

I still really like charlotte but this is only the case because we know a lot of charlottes thoughts and backstory which the mc doesnt in detail.
