Even suzie and kayla who are only a little older to emma its established he does see them as women and feel hot at moments but with emma he only has dearly daughter vibes. He doesnt even think of her in that way. and the family too see him and let him get close like pretty close and have no suspicions except suzie. 'Grooming' is a very strong word to use. Many jurisdictions has a very rough definition of it being 'using/building an emotional connection towards someone, usually a minor or vulnerable person, for sexual purposes'. Exact language varies, but that's pretty close to most.

If the MC doesn't have feelings or sexual interest for someone, he can't really be grooming her. Emma is the only one currently developing feelings/dreams of the MC. How will that be worked into the story? That's to be determined... based on how well the story is evolving it could be very well integrated and more naturally done and developed.

Remember, she only seems childish. She's physically and legally 19 years old. Emotionally stunted, excessively sheltered, and gaslit until she's insecure af, but nothing that can't be fixed (just not by me).

From the very beginning, I've been on an "imaginary" harem path

BUT ON DIFFERENT LEVELS!!!

My goal at the end of the story is very clear:
- Charlotte becomes MC's wife.
- Emma as a stepdaughter (she wants nothing more than that).
- We'll somehow also get Suzi as a stepdaughter (this could prove difficult).
- I want Luzy to be MC's best friend and an indispensable part of the whole construct.

Therefore, I'm collecting all the relationship points I can get from the Lloyd girls!

So if I read that right, MC is only involved romantically with Charlotte, Luci becomes a friend/sister-in-law, and Emma and Suzi become step-children. That's not a definition of 'harem' that I've normally seen, that seems more like a standard blended family.

But that aside:

• Luci: if you turn down the 3 shots she takes, she seems to be building towards becoming a great friend and potential sister-in-law.
• Charlotte: just collect enough points for her, choose her path, and you are on this path
• Emma: Keep her points below the required threshold (I forget off the top of my head) and she won't start dreaming about the MC. She continues to singlemindedly want him to be her new dad.
• Suzi: Yet to be seen, but I'm guessing there'll be a path decision to take. Decline and I suspect over the story she'll fully see the MC has no malicious intent, and she'll step off the proverbial gas pedal a bit/lot. Maybe not immediately accepting or happy with a new step-dad, but that's not likely to happen in the next update or two anyways at current pace.

So I don't think it's an unrealistic possible ending.

Right, paths are exclusive. I was thinking of a Suzi playthrough where I've been keeping Emma from dreaming about the MC romantically... minor detail between Suzi and Charlotte.

Having played AVN's before where there is a huge gap between characters but genders are reversed like in AWAM, MP, MC, EOD,.... It isn't disturbing but arousing because in them the younger ones are deranged enough while poor Emma isn't at all so far.

while im not interested in Emma there is 1 game where the romance between MC and the forced LI makes me more uncomfortable and yet she acts her age haha. Funny enough that game has a Hillside Easter Egg in it it was the reason I tried it but ended up dropping because how it made me uncomfortable.

The one thing I think Emma has going is that since Zack, she has really started to emotionally and mentally grow up and develop much closer to her age. I think a large part of that was Charlotte realizing she's not a kid that needs protection anymore. She still does have a good ways to go, but if the quality of LI development and writing continues, I have the feeling she'll actually feel like an adult when it comes time for the romance to actually kick off.
