Wolf RPG - Completed - Himegashima Island [Final] [Fushidaratei]

Honestly I think it's just a really mixed bag. I feel like this is just way too slow for a porn game to really keep my attention. It's trying too hard to have gameplay but not actually committing to making any of the non porn good, and the porn is just fine overall.

I'm multiple hours in and have like, 4 scenes to show for it and they were really basic early game porn stuff, a little kinkier than standard (I think?) for kagura published but still pretty plain. Plus it's kinda hard to be into it when I just grinded basic tasks for an hour for a 5 second loop of a pixel art blowjob.

The gameplay between is also just like, harvest moon if you removed all the farming elements and the mining. I'm not really playing a porn game for chill vibes, and even then I'd probably rather just get a horny mod for stardew valley or something to have better gameplay.

I would still probably recommend it if you're into like, shota mommy dom type stuff, I imagine the scenes are pretty good if you are but it's not really my specific kink so it mostly comes off as mid sex scenes. It also comes off a little off putting at points because the MC is definitely like... Probably 12 or 13 and the first girl in the game is pretty much constantly talking about how she's a pedophile. It really really treds into "groom a minor simulator" with some of the early dialogue so just be aware that it's really leaning hard into the shota aspect.

Overall I'll probably keep playing to see what else it has but I was just kinda bored for a couple hours and probably would've just played a non horny game if I'd expected this rate of progress.

Defintely worth giving a try if you're into dot games, bit of grind like usual but nothing too insane, and story isn't terrible from what I've seen so far. If you ever played secret summer its a similar concept so you pretty much know what to expect.

Based from what I've played so far, this looks and plays like an actual game with a very nice story. You are invited to a family in a remote village, essentially doing alot of minigames and slice-of-life stuff. The story setup is quite similar to Summer Memories which most of people playing Kagura games most likely came across.

Art: Has a nice and unique feeling to it. Most of the art is sprite based and character expressions and emotions are really nicely captured imo. The environment fits the characters and the composition overall gives off a nice summer vibe imo.

Characters: Kokomi might have stirred up some shit in the comments but honestly in my opinion the MC is totally fine as a character. From outside he has more of a feminine appearance which also plays into how he's treated inside the game. The female characters (both the character sprite and the character art) are not over the top but go more towards realistic proportions which I personally enjoy. As I said above, they all have unique personalities which make them fit into the story very well. Also the mom is my personal favorite but that's besides the point.

Gameplay: Consists of minigames like bug catching and fishing etc. quite nice, can be grindy at times, again compare it to minigames of summer memories just with a different purpose. Other than that it's mostly an exploration type game which I do enjoy quite alot personally.

H-scenes: Sprite animations pure. I love sprite animations and here the sprites do have more detail than in alot of other games that have sprite based animations, which doesn't leave too much up to the imagination. It's not everyones cup of tea, but it definitely is mine. Kink wise it's pretty tame, mostly on the female characters leading the action which I personally enjoy.

Sounds: Not much to say from me, I personally didn't turn on the voices so I can't judge that part but maybe someone else can jump in and say a thing or two about it. The music however is quite nice and fitting.

Overall I can recommend this game, it has a different pace than ur usual hentai game and is more on the story and gameplay side of things.

Warning: Like all Kagura games expect a bit of a grind.

Pros:

1. Translation: So far two hours in translation has been great, it is not MTL, and I have not noticed any bad grammar yet.

2. Art: The game has a nice warm feeling almost pixel art style kinda reminds of the old RPG's I used to play. The backgrounds are also really nice. There are also neat little animations for when the characters talk or gesture. Like most Kagura games the MC is a tad young looking and possesses delicate features. He is not trans this is a common beauty standard in Japan.

3: Sound Has one of my favorite old school rpg tropes, when characters talk they make a low bepepepep sound that reminds me of Shining Force. Some lines are voice if preferred. Music and background noise is also pretty good.

4: Story: Well it is a Kagura game, So a harem is a given. No NTR or anything like that if you are worried. The story so far is kinda in the vein of summer memories where you are visiting others over the summer. This game leans into femdom but it is the softer doting/teasing kind.

5: Scenes: Fully pixel sprite based a real rarity, not for everyone but I like pixel art.

Cons:

1. Grind: Not a major flaw in my opinion but these games are a little long and have a good deal of dialogue/minigames.
