Hello everyone, is currently looking to hire one or two part-time software developers to help with the development of Free Cities: Origins (the latest version can be found ). Since we are brand new, we do not have much liquid capital at the moment, but we understand the importance of getting paid for your work, so we are committed to offering competitive rates.

If you are interested please join our and check the Hiring channel. We put up a small take-home interview which is both for you to see if you are qualified, as well as us to benchmark you. If you are hired, the time spent completing the take-home interview will be compensated.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Proficient in English
- Active on Discord (our main means of communication)
- Above working age in your country of origin (for tax purposes)
- Have some knowledge in the field of computer science

Preferred Qualifications:
- Fast learning ability
- Curiosity
- Knowledge of data structures (Graphs, Trees, Sets, Dictionaries)

Time Commitment:
We will compensate based on work and deliverables rather than time, thus while we do not have any strict time requirements, we ask that you have at least 5 hours a week to commit to this project. Of course, if you're a very fast programmer and can get everything done in 1 hour that's fine as well.

Final Note:
You do not need any experience with SugarCube 2, HTML, Javascript, or CSS. When Mimus Studios was started no one had any experience either. What we require is that you are able to learn it on the fly extremely quickly. This game as it stands is only 1 month old. The take-home assessment should provide a good environment for you to learn everything you need.

To Apply:
Please join our and PM Mimus, or email us at recruitment@mimusstudios.com

We've successfully hired one developer already, we will only be hiring one more paid developer. Many volunteers looking to learn have contacted me, and we are very happy to welcome anyone who just wants to gain experience.
