Hard pass. The issues isn't stolen artwork (tons of that running around anyways) Its that the dev can't bring much to the table if all he has is someone else's limited assets to go from. I've played WT and WT silver so I know what images to expect because they don't culminate into much content wise to be honest.

I've played WT and WT Silver at least a dozen times or so to completion. I thought this game brought something new to the table. It's still buggy and unfinished, but I enjoyed the hell out of it. It was about seven hours of playtime for me, start to finish.
I hope the developer keeps up the good work.

Akabur has said in the past that he is fine with people using his art. We post games, we do not impose quality control as it's up to you if you want to play the game or not. Don't like the game? Then don't play it, and stop with the crying and whining.

...and to be fair the gamemaker has tried to model the Hogwarts castle pretty closely (from the mirror of Eroset to bloody Peeves who probably needs to be a bit more of an annoying shit to be realistic to the books). It's details like that however which potentially make this game stand out from the pack. With a bit of support and a lot of time and energy this could become quite an interesting piece of fan fiction...

Using others artwork if approved by the original owner is cool with me, using their artwork to get money on Patreon is pretty underhanded and scummy though.

The game, can't play the android version, just constantly crashes.

The windows version - very cut and paste, not much originality at all, you know exactly whats gonna happen and the "borrowed" artwork puts a real damper on it cos you've seen it all before.
Ginny's shop is a MESS, needs a rework and a map would be useful.

Giving it a 2/10 just now - will check back in 6 months but I believe the game will be dead by then as using the name "Hogwarts" on Patreon is gonna get it removed and with the copy/paste nature of this game - I dont believe the developer will continue if he's not getting paid or it.

ginny shop floor 7. i use one of the towers to get there.....west or north tower i think....posting coz i read critics about that shop and was like "what shop they mean?" and started to investigate that way too big world without a clue/hint/map and it took me some time...^^

EDIT: shop is buggy mess? [x] aye. but it has that anal training equipment required for that favour........

The game seems promising and all but i got lost in the castle so quickly i cant find my way anywhere. might i suggest a mini map or a fast travel system somewhere? i literally cant find my way back and its immensely frustrating. on a good point though the card games tons of fun and i like the way youre going with the game.

I've seen this a couple of times. I also think it happens when you have Hermine go and show her panties under the public favors.

Edit: Correction -- the game only seems to freeze when I have Hermine show her panties in public and have the witch that wants to learn about potions gather ingredients on the same day and they return that evening. So, yes a bug, just not as often as I thought.
