RPGM - Holdcraft Chronicles: Aki [Ch.9] [Seez]

Boys! Girls! and Everything in between! We did it, after all these years we got there... and in just a few simple words... "A few days later..."! How many god awful games have we collectively suffered through by having to manually get into bed to pass time? Gone are the days of having to click through the same soul crushing "rest" and "sleep" button just to move 3 days into the future all because ONE man, ONE dev! Had a dream!

And from the same mind that gives us such a simple common sense upgrade, also comes a game that just nails it.

-The pacing? Crushed it, you wont have to watch in artificial real time while we wait 300 hours for the corruption to take hold! The scenes are snappy, getting hot sexy stuff right into your face.
-The story? Very serviceable, any character has a rather deep and simple backstory. It also doesn't stand on a milk crate and blast you with one hour of dialog but instead keeps it to short deep snips here and there. If the main character and her ntr husband are married and the story tells us that, do we have to see 39 and a half 10 minute a piece scenes to make us aware they are married? NO!
-The Art? Very Solid, God I love art that has a bit of heart in it. So many outfits and posses, not to mention the very formidable amount of sex scenes. Only hope is the art tightens up a bit to show more detail in the holes department. Some times it just looks like massive wiener is stuffed in legs area, rather than in an actual hole haha.

All in all 7/5 game, if i could rate it higher I would. It takes no bull shit, wastes ZERO of your time, gives everything you need with markers to events, gallery right off the bat and a hint system even though the game is so intuitive its not even needed. Also I have a personal litmus test for adult games, if you as a dev write a scene without a sexy adult moment in it you are in the wrong business, and Holdcraft passes that test with flying colours, again never wasting your time.

THIS is the standard to meet when it comes to adult genre games.

Lots of variety in kinks and sex scenes, plus attractive models for all the characters (including male characters) Its a lot of NTR and sharing but if you're into that its one of the best in my opinion.

It's a creative game that swings and misses.

It's a visual novel, despite being in RPGmaker. The dev has an entry note of it being a project to get their feet wet in the program, so I won't poke at it too much; for the consumer it was pretty needless, though, and the maps are all pretty flat. Tragic, but oh well.

The story... exists. It takes swerves for the supernatural for no real reason, beyond the furry-adjacent setting. In theory it's perfectly serviceable and fine, but in practice it isn't because;

The writing is mediocre. It isn't explicitly bad, there are plenty of clown show text-only games that have absolute trainwrecks of sentences. But it isn't good, either. All of it pretty flat, a fair amount of typos, grammar mistakes, etc. And unfortunately, while the animations are pretty good and provocative, the entire project is carried solely by its writing and its unfortunately lacking.

It is, tragically, another lesson of games on here that somehow writing dialog and saucy things is in fact the hard part, despite being the least technical.

Models look great, Animations are nice and the Characters are all likeable.
No silly drama or overcomplicated plot, just a great experience all around.
The map is a lil big for the amount of content for now, but im sure it will fill up eventually.

This is one of the best futa ntr games I played so far while the game is still early in development so far it has tremendous potential depending on the decisions the dev chooses anyways I will list every aspect a give a little bit of my opinion in this mini review.

Story so far the story is about a wife and husband who get contracted by rich people to deliver flowers from their business and while doing that they make friends with new people and that's how the story unfolds, its not anything that will blow your mind but the aspect that I love the most about the story is that for a NTR game its on the light hearted side meaning that yes while there is fun ntr fun the game isn't super dark or depressing and to be honest that's very refreshing to see way too many NTR games are too depressing that this one stands out I love that about it and hope it stays this way and doesnt go super depressing.

The Characters first I will talk about their physical appearance and then about their personalities ok so first physically I love how each of them look all the women are very feminine and curvy I love that they have nice big boobs, big asses and the 1 futa that has been revealed is well endowed as someone who prefers curvy women I am very happy I think that too many futa games tend to go for the more skinny women look which I don't personally like or give the futas small cocks which I despise as well I think they all look perfect at the moment.

Personality wise there are all different types from cool,shy, horny, grumpy or happy go lucky I think every character feels different and the shyness of Aki the MC is very cute.

Corruption so far the pacing of the corruption has been perfect not too slow and not too fast I personally think that the dev is on the right track I also love that the characters don't force themselves on the MC too much its more like the MC is very attracted to the current futa.

Renders its anime style and think they look very good.

Engine RPGM Maker wanted to make a point for this one because I personally think that rpg maker works very well for NTR games going around exploring and finding events is very fun and works well with ntr games.

Things that could Improve:
Like I said in the beginning the game is still early in development I think that the game is going in the right direction but some things do need some work.

1. The game needs more futas this is something that me and many others agree on that my reasoning is that in the beginning the game gives you a bit of lore and world building and it states that 10% of the population are futas so it is very likely that other horny futas exist in the world other then Nichole and also the most important factor is that having multiple futas to corrupt Aki keeps things fresh and less repetitive, a lot of futa games fall in to this mistake they only make one futa for the entire game and by half of the game it starts to get boring seeing the same futa having sex with just different girls and the same sex positions that why I think its super important that more futas get added in to the game a lot of the other characters in the game currently are other females the only one we still don't know is the masked owner so if she is also a futa that could spice things up.

2. I would love to see the husband see his wife getting corrupted or changing maybe catch her in some scenes doing something naughty I think that at the moment he hasn't had much to do in the game but then again its still early on.

3 Keep the pacing as it is meaning don't make it too fast but also don't make it too slow blue balling I think that so far its perfect because either extreme is bad making it too fast makes it feel rushed and looses the impact and making it too slow feels like a slog and blue balls the player so I say keep it at some medium pace like it is going to far.

4 This one is similar to my first point but the game needs more interactions with other characters relevant to the story in general or introduce a bit more, I say this because so far the whole game feels like its mostly just the wife, husband and Nichole and her Maid while we where introduced to the owners of the house the masked lady we have had no interaction almost with them same with the bartender of the casino and also like I pointed out earlier needs more futas in general we have had many women show up and husband and male owner are both males but in terms of futa only Nichole we seen so the game like I said before needs more futas in that department.

5. This one is more a personal one than anything futa on futa scenes would be awesome in the game for those who like it.

Conclusion Holdcraft Chronicles is the start of an amazing light hearted NTR game that any ntr futa fan can enjoy the game is still early in development but what it has to show is very good it is a diamond in the rough that will determine if it stays as good through development depending on the decision the developer takes anyways if I had to number score the game I would give it a 4.5/ 5 but since the site doesnt allow half's I will mark it as 5 with some added stuff and development I think it can reach perfection and will keep updating this review as it goes

[v0.11] Review

It's a Futa NTR game which I have a soft spot for so it's a shame I have to give it only 3 stars.

I feel as if the game missed a step somehow. The relationship between the wife and her husband just feels flat after the intro. There shouldn't be more sex scenes with the futa than with him at the beginning imo. At a minimum we should see some sort of fucking between them so the contrast between him and the futa is more apparent. Right now I counted zero scenes between them. I get that everyone wants to get to the action but there's still important character building and emotional stakes that should be established.

The corruption also appears to be going at an accelerated pace. One minute she mistakes her semen as something edible and soon after she's willingly blowing her without much consideration. It almost feels more like Aki is trying to cheat on her husband with Nicole than it feels like Nicole is stealing her from him.

Then there's the sex scenes themselves. They aren't bad, but when compared to something like the Futa Concoction or Futa Fantasy it's not even close. There's also no husband POV although that could be implemented later. Definitely needs work here.

Overall it has promise but needs more character building, better paced corruption, and the sex scenes need some work.

I totally loved all of the content so far. Clearly a lot of passion went into this project. The only request I could make would to be scenes from the POV of the husband, Jake. I am really looking forward to what is to come!

An incredibly well done game. A super sexy game that gets to the action pretty quickly but doesn’t diminish the characters horribly by doing so.

Characters:
The characters in the story have some good personality to them and the humor in the game presents itself well. They are modeled well and are appealing in my opinion. They all feel distinct from each other in appearance and personality.

Gameplay:
There isn’t any grind or anything like that, you just walk from event to event which have icons hovering over them, easily visible. If you get lost you can view a crystal ball which will give you hints as to where to go next.

H Content:
Despite it currently only being the first release there are already several H scenes. They are animated and well composed.

Truly a good pre-release :
- Characters are good looking
- Very nice pacing
- Informations are not force fed. Most of the time, with games from this site, i start skipping dialogues in the first 10 mins because the information is feeding is industrial. In this game, you learn who your characters are over the course of the whole game. Like why is the MC here, who is she, where does her business comes from ... It's not an info dump that take place in the first 5 mins, it takes time, and it's very welcome.
- The lewd scenes makes sense (kinda), although i would like more informations on why - The character doesn't do a 180 on her values and on her husband (so far). You can feel it's gradual, it's slow in a very good way.

Keep it up !

I don't usually rate games 5 star, this one is an exceptional case for the following:

-This is a Pre-release done right, the amount of scenes this game has on its 1st release is more than a lot of games on this website.

-Despite being a scene collector the game actually has pacing

-Characters are introduced over time and have a well established background that isn't force fed to the player.

-Scenes look good and the characters are attractive.

With a pre-release this successful I am very curious to see where the developer bring this game.

I really liked it, tha characters have good writing the maps look very good and it's always nice to read.

For now, it isn't very long but it's just the start, in general there is not much to critisice.

Great start to the game. It has enough content in this version to understand what this game is about and see if you like it or not. Other than the futa character being very hot, the scenes you find around the map are also very cool and I hope we get to see more of those.
I hope the husband also becomes a bigger part of the story for it to truly feel like a ntr.
Great start of a game overall and I hope it gets updated at a constant rate.

Its a nice simple and easy to follow game. The story is funny and good and the niche fetish is always fun to have! Looking forward to see how this game expands. I really like the animations and think this game has alot of potential!

I completed the first chapter and this game looks so promising. The art and game design is gorgeous and it hints at a lot of anal sex between the two main characters, plus the story is fun and engaging. Kudos to the creator!
