This thread starting to be dead as Michael Jackson, by the lack of incest game in the adult game industry

It was a good run while it lasted. There's still a handful of Devs that are making related content. But, yeah.. for the most part it's barely surviving. I could get into payment processors, policies, Patreon and everything else, but that's Ike kicking a dead horse.
Basically, the genre died because people can't understand fantasy, and fiction. Like I said before, I am studying AI at the moment, learning everything I can, and I have already created stories, animations, images with the Genre. There is nothing wrong about a fantasy of a GROWN MAN having a relationship with an attractive woman. Yeah, the woman just happens to be his Mom, but who cares! It's fantasy, and I incorporate sci-fi elements and other fictional settings to allow the relationship to develop.
The Visit, Dreams of Desire, S.H.E.L.T.E.R., Apocalypse, Milfy City, Family at Home are a few of the heavy hitters that inspired me to start creating my own stories and animations. If I have to single handedly keep the genre alive, then so be it.

Well, Patreon has been cracking down heavily on any incest in adult VNs (mainly due to pressure from payment processors), and while SubscribeStar has been lenient against incest (even though their terms of service also bans this type of contents), they are notoriously slow/difficult to approve adult creator accounts. Those two are the big main players, since a lot of other funding/support platforms either are against adult contents (or are very limiting on that) or are very difficult to get an account created+approved.

When it's near impossible to get any funding for their efforts, most creators/developers simply won't bother with incest, and instead focus on more "vanilla" adult contents.

They aren't. They're often just not reported.

For example, I'm supporting a story on Patreon that has some lesbian incest involved and never get attention from Patreon for it.
On the other hand, there's another story where the author had to change it twice to appease Patreon (from blood-related to foster-siblings to childhood friends).

Not going to mention the first one, because I really don't want it reported. Also the author is not really reliable and ~15 chapters behind what they owe their supporters, and I'm pretty sure some censoring by Patreon would just lead to them dropping the story altogether.

Do you have more specific tags for us, incest-wise? You know, M/S, B/S, etc, and if it's "true" (blood-related), "adopted", "step", etc? Also, which ones deserve the golden tag?
