Unity - Completed - Honey Select 2 [DX R15] [Illusion]

Ok, i have to say this is my favorite sim, that being said it had amazing potential but failed incredibly , for 1 why go for photo realism without going all in on realism, what do I mean? well here we go, i love the character creation and the mods to make it better but it falls short horribly for me for many reasons, you cannot edit penis size without a mod and even with a mod it makes no difference same with vagina size , no matter how big or tight you make it , it makes no difference, the girls can fit telephone poles for dick sizes, there is no realism in male character creation, each male character registers as the same player, this is a massive fail, i want males that are friendly and some that are evil and i want the females to be able to distinguish between the 2 as SEPERATE PLAYERS , aka like 1 and fear the other, same goes with penis size, both the males and the females should be able to distinguish between tight and loose vaginas as well as the women to recognize between huge and small penis's also not that some penis's should be too big to fit, ans once a female has been gaped by a mandingo the smaller guy should be able to tell her vaginal looseness and respond accordingly , maybe even introduce a stamina bar to work with the orgasm bar and the looser the vagina the longer it takes to orgasm, to the point where if it becomes too loose the male loses stamina before having an orgasm and so on, these are all opportunity's missed and i hope i see the day when a game is made that checks all these boxes. for me that would be a 5 star game and no game will ever get 5 stars from until they check all those boxes

This is way better than that! Honey Select 2 certainly has a learning curve, but once a nerd is over the hump, it's a Willa-Wonkian land of pure imagination. I would definitely recommend this, especially if you tend toward more realistic/mature models like I do.

The studio that comes with Honey Select 2 is pure fantasy fuel, that has a steeper learning curve than the game, but this studio can become the gift that keeps on giving if you learn it. In fact, it just gave me the gift of Tifa, Taki, and Sheva all in the shower together. Joy to the world, joy to this game.

I'm using it almost exclusively for VR, so I'm comparing them to other VR sex games.

Is there real gameplay in this game? Not really. Technically you can go to different rooms that have girls, and based on positions you have sex in, change their predispositions. In VR there's not even that, it's just the sex scenes (pick the girl, male model, room, girl mental state and off you go). The interactivity in VR is also partially limited; yes, you can grab boobs, ass, finger the pussy; there is little to no interactivity with the clothes (can't grab, roll up, or take off). All of those actions have to be done through menus you have to open and "hang" in VR space.

The "possession" aspect is also limited to your head, and it's not actually linked to the body. While there are controls to easily reset the position and view direction to the male model, you can always move around. The nice thing is that if the camera is close to the head, the whole head disappears, so there is no issues with clipping (it does make your shadow headless unfortunately). You can easily clip through girls or environments, which while immersion breaking, is a more ergonomic solution (as moving the world around you so that you don't clip is nauseating).

So, why the high score? It's basically one of only two VR sex games to which I come back to over and over again (the other being Koikatsu/Koikatsu Sunshine).

The amount of clothing options is simply overwhelming. The customization options for those items are also huge (it's possible to change the shaders and shader settings used for particular pieces of clothing!).

The character editor is both incredibly powerful and easy to use (leagues ahead of what Virt-a-Mate has). Even if you can't find a character card with your particular kinks, making the girl (or boy, you can make the character have male characteristics and a penis) with a different body type, like with thick thighs, big boobs, or totally flat with skinny legs, as long as it's not too far from the original card, will require changing just few well labeled sliders.

Yeah, the ready-to use character cards... There are literally tens of thousands of character cards, ones that include famous actresses (both mass media and porn ones), game characters, "realified" anime or cartoon characters, and original characters. There's everything.

If I could give fractional ratings, then this would be 4.5/5, but only because I find Koikatsu better: HS2 aims for realistic look, but doesn't quite achieve it. Koikatsu aims for anime look and gets it. Koikatsu cards can also have multiple outfits, so for established characters it makes it much easier to switch between them. For consistent, reliable, and ergonomic VR experience that's not repetitive, I have found nothing better, but Koikatsu, and that is only marginally.

The only thing that even is on the same planet, let alone ballpark, is Virt-A-Mate, but that thing is a usability nightmare and has much fewer clothing and ready character options.

I probably should also mention that it has a scene editor, but then if you've seem more than 3 Ren'Py games on this site, you'll be familiar with either HS2 or Koikatsu editor output already...

Nobody does the genre better than honey select. Personally this is just dress up with my favorite characters from anything and everything. Dressing up and editing my favorite girls has kept me entertained for hours before. The visuals are amazing albeit not that different from HS1. All the naughty stuff is just a bonus. Truly a staple in the horny game genre.

If you played one HS u played it all. at this point i must say there are other free game on this site that is way better in terms of gameplay and content.

it might be mind blowing for those which never play this game but it get boring after less than an hour when nothing is new.

Suffice to say this version is just a more graphically polished version compared with its predecessors. Besides that nothing significantly new worthy of mention apart of less clipping.

This is definitely not the best game my country could make. It was ground breaking in its early days but lately this studio is just lazy.

Without the effort thrown in by modders this game is a waste of time. Don't bother playing without mods.

The character creator is the only thing to shout about for the game. while gameplay itself is an insult and embarassment.

The girls look great, the guys look terrible with foot long dicks, its as if Illusion think guys just don't matter in a sex game. The game is great if you want to add a literal shit ton of mods to get practically every female game character ever created into your harem, my own game is full of Final Fantasy girls who never say no and never mind the fact the male avatars they bang all look like ass. A lot of games here on F95 are made using HS2 assets and there are some great ones to chose from, but if you just want to spend some time playing an HS game to fap then stick to the first one. 80% of the animations are common across both games anyhow.

Nothing like it as far as I can find for the degree of control, but not perfect. Updating to get enough variety takes an eternity. Variety of characters is limited, where it seems like very few if any ebony, latina, or middle eastern characters. Male options are very limited as well.

Basically just honey select with few minor additions, recycled animations, same graphics, same customization, if you played honey select or any of their previous unity game you're not getting much more, play some scenes, no interactivity, lackluster creampies and cumshots (nor proper liquid physics), no pregnancy, no common fetishes (belly bulging, x-ray), no condom play, no risk, nothing interesting, girls have few generic personalities you can change at will (as you can their looks) so it's not very immersive when you can literally change anything about the girls in few seconds and stop heaving to deal with what you didn't like, everything is perfect and thus boring.

Great for making boring renpy games, bad for actually enjoying anything close to a good simulation. 2 stars for decent graphics but then they didn't really do much to improve over what was already in their previous unity games.

Animations are ok I guess but they are not dynamic in any way, each plays out the same way, there are no significant differences based on if girls likes it or not, facial expressions are very bad, most girls look like they have brain damage, you can adjust size of your penis but all it does it makes it go through their bodies, basically game doesn't really care about proportions or sizes of the character models sicne again, animations are all premade and do not adjust based on anything so it's very easy to get clipping and lack of proper penetration.

You want good simulation game? Play something else.

What you can do in this game's studio:

1. Make videos, images or 3d scenes
   1. simple loops
   2. transitions
   3. body, hair, face, item etc animations (you can animate almost ANYTHING)
   4. sounds (least convenient of all, not quite implemented well by mods)
   5. even some physics

3. create characters

I mean it's fucking endless, but I guess the performance and convenience could be better

Too boring game. After 20 minutes of playing just uninstalled. The game weighs over 100 GB! But it does not have a plot, a good script. There are very few sexual positions to choose from Outcome: Graphics perfect, Customization is good Gameplay is awful Wild Life even looks more fun than this boring game and weighs less. Really, 100 GB of games + 20 RAM. and there is no normal content in it There are beautiful locations - it's super but then everything is booooooring

Another disillusion from Illusion.
Yes, the characters look good and customisation is still very developed, but that's about it. They haven't changed much in their games in a decade or so.

• There is still no decent scenario whatsoever.
• Interactions and dialogues with the girls are close to non-existent.
• Sex scenes are all the same regardless of the girl. I was bored after 10 minutes. You can fuck her ass right away, she won't say a thing. It's always so easy to reach orgasm together that I don't even see the point of the two pleasure bars. They could have just put a button "cum together".
• They regressed on the clipping issues during penetration, with the dick stabbing the girl outside her pussy.

I feel that with all the money Illusion make, they could try to write a scenario for once. And also pay for an English translation; it's not like they ignore their games are played in the rest of the world, but I suppose they are happy with their earnings and don't want to leave their mediocrity.

I would have also given a better grade if I didn't have to download that huge fucking 120GB for the 20th remake of Artificial Girl in 20 years or so.

AI Girl at least had moderately interesting gameplay elements. This is just a SLIGHTLY improved update to the same game Illusion has made over and over for a decade. You pick a girl, you customize her, and you pick some sex positions to do. That's it. Bored of it after an hour and never want to play it again. Game looks great, but that by itself counts for almost nothing in the end.

One of my favorite character creation tools ever. Lots of mods and plugins to add in cloths, face models and so on.

The game part's UI is a bit odd in places, but even then it's got some VERY good animations, lots of position options and, again, mods mean more placed to bust a nut.

Yes, the install size is on the large side, but you're getting quality models and textures as part of that, not to mention several mods and plugins taht make the game and character creation more fun.

It's Honey Select but with better graphics and the male character I made looks much better (though according to one friend that saw it, he thought it was just a gender-swapped Casca).

The game has at least a few more sex positions than the first but other than that, there's not really much improvement in that department aside from the expansion bringing Sitri back and having a few extra areas that you can use with a partner based off her state unless she's max in a relevant state, you won't be able to fuck in a pool or get vaginally dommed by her in a church.

In regards to character creation, I heard you can't use Honey Select 1 cards. I haven't test this out since the hard drive I had HS 1 one lost its data thanks to accidentally dropping it. That said, Ai Shoujo cards can be used her and vice-versa.

Modding is still a strong point for the game and thanks to modders, there's an assortment of maps to fuck in and clothing and hair styles to use.

In short, it's a better looking Honey Select that has more content thanks to modders.

Best waifu simulator I've played. It's a pretty large game however, and modding is always complicated. Pay attention to how you're messing around with files or you'll break the game and have to reinstall all over again.

Shitty animations. Imagine you stick your dick in a girl. Now, imagine she moves her hips forward six inches, while you move your hips forward six inches. Now repeat this motion. You have a stupid rocking animation with barely any impact. All animations are this weird, bizarre rocking animation that looks fucking stupid.

Decent 3d models. They're okay, lots of cusomization.

Shitty ass skin shader. These materials are from like 2005.

Honey Select 1 was ANCIENT. Honey Select 2 upgraded from Ancient to Outdated.

There's no story editor, quest maker, so you can't make your own erotic scenario. There's 0 intellectually erotic stimulation.

It's 2022, we need Honey Select 5 where render engine matches the current year of technology.

This program is good if you have an IQ of 90 and your video card is the Intel HD graphics.

This is my second illusion game and i am a bit disappointed that you can't roam around as in AI-Syoujyo. Don't get me wrong, the game's stunning, the h-scenes are exciting and the performance is smoove going (compare to AI). But... it's like there is no adventure or challenge in HS2. You can fuck anyone whenever you want...

Summery: It’s Honey Select 1, with a few graphical, QoL, and stability upgrades.



Good:

+ Pretty much everything from HS1 is here

+ Quite a few subtle upgrades from HS1. Better resolutions, better framerates, less crashes, and better alignment/less-clipping than HS1. (The alignment/clipping improvement might be from a mod).

+ ScrewThisNoise Mods make this game so much better. Pregnancy, futa, additional physics objects, visibly rules for underneath items, and thousands of hairs, clothes, and accessories are all available and working.



Meh:

/ Content is almost the same as HS1. Not too many more voice packs, locations, or sex positions.

/ AS with HS1, this game is more like a doll-maker and poser. They can have sex in different maps, but there is no gameplay aspect. No challenge, story, or intrigue.



Bad:

- Cards from HS1 are not compatible

- * Even with all the optimizations, the game can still chug on modern hardware. Forget about trying to play this with a laptop or old desktop. The modded game is now up to 80GB+, which is a bit much. Subtract several points from the score if these issues might affect your experience. *

- A lot of the features require grinding to unlock in the un-modded game

- Seriously, don’t play this game un-modded

- * Subtract a point or two from the score if you expect story, gameplay challenge, or meaningful feature progression. *

Honey Select 2 is THE 3D Japanese Hentai game that Has so many things everyone wanted: Character Creation, Hentai Scenes, Specific fetishes, desires, dating sim?, a package of mods (for the better or worse), and a studio maker to create your own visual novel game.

You start to live in a Love hotel called Honey Select, the receptionist/assistant named Fur helps you understand everything you need to know about this love hotel, you can talk, romance, have sex, enslave, break, or free the selection of girls and character creation girls however you want.

The obvious Highlight here is the character creation, It's the best creating I've ever seen, so many sliders for face, body and hair and make it your ideal guy/girl/futa. Thanks to the Mods the creation is more expansive than ever. I could write a whole 5 page story of this character creation alone, but here is the everything you need to know about character creation: Body slider, Multiple hair options, Head slider, eyes, Shirts, jackets, pants, shoes, socks, Panties/underwear, Bra/Undershirt, Poses, photo profile pic, accessories, tattoos, personality traits, makeup, 265 color slider, and the DX expansion and Mods made it even longer.

The Gameplay is like a dating simulator. You can call a girl and interact an area around Honey select hotel and have sex. You can walk in the hallway and interact with the girls you've assigned in the hotel. You can trigger an event. Like Talking, Stuck girls, Invading their privacy, Invading your privacy, meeting you in your room, invading your room, and so on.

The Hentai Scenes are played like a simulation and you determine how it will be played out. By foreplay, Servicing, Dominant sex, Submissive sex, recording, pain or special ones.

These sex scenes and interacting with the girls in the hallway will determine the feeling and status of how the girl feels about you. Love (Vanilla sex), Hedonist (Femdom), Normal (Just Normal sex), Hate (Rape), Independent (Committed Married couple), and Slave (Mind break).

My Experience from this game:

There are 2 issues in this game (Won't change the rating): The modpacks made by "screwthisnoise" is very plenty but unnecessary. We don't need these many maps, costumes as most of them feels out of place or for other specific mod characters. You need to disable the dozens of mod maps at plugin settings because your female characters can get lost and rarely have a trigger event.

At this point the download for this game is the mod (R7) at 46GB and the base game is 26GB. We don't need this many mod packs. However the modpacks are needed to remove the "Censorship" on the base game, and it gives you options to remove specific mods and other content.

The 2nd issue is that HS2 needs a powerful graphics card. If you have a low performing computer, Good luck playing this game. I have a decent laptop and this game runs at 15-25fps. if you have the most powerful PC to date, then you have no problem. There are obvious clipping issues, and iffy translation dialogue, but that doesn't bother me.

Overall, a Near masterpiece of a 3D hentai game, so much customization, so much content, and you can have so much fun in this game to play around, hentai or non hentai wise. Just find a way to overcome the modpacks and next gen graphics.

Edit: I realized my mistake when I played R7 modpack. The 87gb is an optional modslider for the HS2 studio mode and is used for Ren'py visual novel hentai games like "Once in a lifetime", "Deviant Anomalies", "Etherium", "Harem Hotel" and much more. I apologize if I got it wrong the whole time.
