The HS2 series is done, it won't be continued. When working on R2 I'll see how big the diff is, and if it's small enough after compression, a updater may be possible, but I doubt it.

Hi, is there a way to make girls spawn in sideloader maps/new DX maps like they do on vanilla maps ?

I'll be honest, the reason why you can't find much about it, is because there really isn't much that I've seen...
The first noticeable thing is that the 6 new areas are set apart from the main game, you can only go to these areas by the list in your room.
To get there, you'll first need to call Fur who will come to your room and explain this new service to you and then will tell you that if you want to visit those places, to give her a call again and she dashes out of your room.
Um... ok.
You call her again and ask her to take you to the "new wing/division" of the hotel, which she will do and she'll introduce you to Sitri, who is in charge of this new area and promptly leave again... after another brief explanation of the services, Sitri will ask you what area you would like to pick and who you'd like to take with you...
You are given a choice of six new places, though each place is dependent on a character's current emotion/state... for example:
The Night Love/Night Club will only allow you to choose from the list of girls who are "IN Love" (Pink Smiley Face Emote) with you... in the "Forever Service/Wedding Chapel" you can ONLY select girls who are " IN Dependency" (Grey Out Straight Mouth Emote) with you... so, you have to have various girls with a "High Level" of different States in your female list to try all of the location areas that are specific to that girl's state towards you.
Once you've selected the appropriate girl from the list of area specific State... you are brought to the new location with that girl and are given 2-4 new sex poses and animations to have with that girl. You are only allowed, while visiting that area, those 2-4 new animations... you don't get all of the previous animations to use for that area, so the area kind of feels dead and boring even before you fuck the girl (or she fucks you).
Once you leave the "girl state specific area" you are dumped unceremoniously back to your hotel room and it informs you that the new area is unlocked now to be used with any other character in the game...
...however, you can only get to that area (to use with any of your babes) by the "Call a Girl" action from your room and taking her there as a date. You can not get random girls that are populating that area from your area list in the "Walk the Hall" option.
Should you decide to bring a "date" to that area from the list of locations after you've selected your date, if that girl isn't in the "State" that is specific to that area, you will only be allowed to do normal SEX animations (that came standard with the original release) in that area... so, if you bring a "date" with you who is a "Hedonist" to the "Night Walk/Park" don't expect to be able to put a leash on her and have her to give you a "Doggy Blowjob"... the only way you can use that animation is if the girl is "Broken".
Honestly, and this just might be my opinion, but the whole "Special VIP Area(s)" feels like you are caged to a particular girl to get the most use from that area and the few new animations that are locked only to be used on girls of specific "States" to you is boring as fuck and not worth the extra clicks and steps that you have to take to get to those areas.
Personally, I am hoping that the modders (like maybe Hooh) will be able to find a way to "unlock" these few new animations to be used anywhere, anytime, and to be used on ANYONE to actually make this expansion a value to everyone... otherwise, it feels confining, limited and boring.
Hope that helps people understand what the new expansion is like from my perspective at least.
Not yet, they're working on it... there are a lot of function calls that need to be done to allow that ability and they've been working on it.
Do the guys have more customization options than in the first one or is it the same with them (small dicks included)?

Define "small"? Less then 7 inches or 14 inches measured from base of spine? Or smaller then 6 foot adult forearm?
Currently, You get 3 stamen that are "decent"? (_shrug_ I can only judge mine as it's attached and the only one I like, if that makes sense.) and 1 feeldoe to wear if you want with or without the nuts.
The "Bigger" issue is that the size based on "pornstar" male not average male. In Ai-shoujo / Ai-syoujyo previous title (almost exact same engine and poses) same. And it's about Elbow to Wrist length currently.
It telescopes. There is even a thread on the AI & HS2 card sharing on how to setup and build the sizes for male and females correctly using the BetterPenetration mod. Using the mod included with the BR will fix clipping issues that most partners have (it will still break jaws and some other poses if alignment isn't perfect). a.k.a you will still have to tune UNLESS she is Amazonian height/width.

[pardeike] because Harmony... that is used for any and every Unity game out there for non-destructive patching.. BattleTech, Rimworld and I can't even count how many other games that use Unity.
Any modders dealing directly with the Unity Engine & overall game contribute Plugins to the community are great.

Being able to create/make/modify a long running animation, exporting it out of Studio Neo V2 and importing into the core play game. Is what would really be exceptional.
Fact is it can be done with maps. It could be done with new animations. Sadly there are no 3rd party tools to do so. (yet?). (And collisions/space with bodies isn't great so issues of model sizes with clipping/warping/bad stretching/breaking..) but the Elephant is eaten one bite at a time. Making the Elephant stay still and having a proper chewing technique and fork to hold is the trick.
There will be a new push and increased patreonis developertitis to get DX up to speed for DHH and lights. More lights and effects and lighting and reflections and materials and did I mention lighting?. Well. Just the visual stuff for a while I imagine (sadly).
Many just use AI and HS2 as a alternative to Daz.
A huge thank you to [ScrewThisNoise] and all the English Translators! because without them... Most would folks be tripping over their own feet. (Myself included! In fact STN was the reason I purchased AI on Steam and HS2 on DMM. Your welcome Illusion.)

You could search and dig around for all the links and torrents here and all the other places.
Most sane solution? zip/compress/7.z copy your UserData out and label it HS2BkUData and just grab the BR 5.0 and apply the 5.0.1 patch. If you want to wait for DX? That is a viable option as well. Same process. Save your UserData separately and grab the full DX.

I'm really mixed on DX as a whole atm... The constraints for the VIP room seems iffy at first, though it probably is understandable that you probably have a veritable harem at this point (I mean the game has been out for quite a long time to begin with...).
What annoys me is that even after unlocking the VIP rooms for free mode, all the constraints are still there. What in the actual fuck.
THE ONLY upside to all of this has been one thing and one thing alone for me atm... and it isn't even much. It's the ability to FINALLY be able to exhaust Sitri (something that was pretty impossible in Honey Select 1).

This pack is meant for early adaptors, if you want a stable experience, wait for R2!
If you have trouble starting the game, start the game once through the launcher (InitSetting.exe), this will check for errors and fix them as well before starting the game.
You can update the sideloader modpack (clothing mods etc) from the launcher. Just press the icon in the lower left corner of the launcher with the arrow to check for updates. I'm updating that more often than the main pack, so should get some updates there every so often
