That's literally any Metroidvania. That's part of the definition of Metroidvania: a game where you revisit areas as you get stronger and more abilities, unlocking more content in those areas, including but not limited to, entrances to new areas, hidden items, or new/hidden fights.

I'm pretty sure their income is holdover from the game they spent years working on, likely most of their long-term subscribers are from Pirates: Golden Tits. That game isn't listed in their "Other games" link because this dev changed their name from HotBunny to TapTapLegends.

sadly yeah, you cant do shit in this game, 10 levelups, then if you go and go and sign in theyr patreon you get 20 levelups,in theses 20 free there is nothing,full coontent whould, req you sign for they paytr, monthly fee shit, getting kinda tired of this fucking bullshit

Every time I see stuff like this I hurt inside, because truly things like this gravity well financial support away from people that are painstakingly putting effort into making good games, and or give this side of gaming a bad rap often...
