The money is useless in the game. Diamonds used to buy everything, and you can rack them up fast by running out of money and kinda manipulate the girl into auto-losing. Theirs also a bug that when you lose, the previous card you play will stay and count towards your next attempt at 21. The points will still show 0, but playing a card makes you auto lose and you have to pass your turn to "fix" the bug.
