somehow it dont work for me :/ after editing the files, the game only goes to the start screen and not further. when i hit "play" nothing happens

of course it doesnt, there was an update my bad

Oof- it seems the the whole hacking and bypass methods doens't work anymore with this new update, now we gotta wait on someone to make a newer one...

Really how so? i did all the steps same as ever and it didn't work for me
EDIT; nevermind it works, the issue was that i used the files to unlock stuff and my game wound't work anymore.

You can write everything you need in the save file.
game direcroty/__save/slot_0/controller_player.xml - suits
Open with a text editor, input "Suits" between <_element_character_list></_element_character_list> and save
Delete controller_player.xml.protect

I copied the entire save folder to the new version. Everything is working.
What is the problem?

Hmm could you care to explain how i messed up? is something written wrong there? i though i'm supposed to add the "/" only in the end of each tag, like in the ending there below "Oliver End" </_element_character_list> .
EDIT; also i just tried to add the "/" in the line where u said i messed up and nothing changed, play buttom still inactive

That's the starting point of the tag of that you posted has / in it (not sure why you have it in there but that's the issue)

This was in the how to install step
