You get what you see in the screenshots and description: simple, relatively short (around half an hour per full playthrough, with 1 or 2 replays recommended), lighthearted story.

+ renders are good, I like the artstyle, balanced between horny and realistic
+ I love the dynamics between Jasmine and her guy, there's so much toxic filth in some of these games it's actually nice to see a wholesome and healthy relationship
+ story is simple, but not stupid - again, well balanced between horny and realistic

- too linear, too few impactful choices (primarily due to short length), but there are some decisions that matter

If you are looking for a new, groundbreaking thriller adventure with complex characters and Stephen King-tier plots, skip. If you want to kill one hour jerking off to women swinging, play.

Hotwives on Holiday is one of those games that is quite hard to rate properly. On one hand, you have a story filled with humor that isn't too realistic, but fun nonetheless. On the other hand, this game features some renders that really have no business being in a $20 game. Overall, this is a mixed bag.


STORY
Callie is a run-of-the-mill cheating wife who asked her friend Jasmine (the hotwife) to come along for a trip to Cancún. During their vacations, the topic of sex comes up and Callie learns about Jasmine being a hotwife. They go about the island, each handling their urges in their respective ways. Drama ensues as the women look for ways to save their little weekend abroad.

GRAPHICS
While Jasmine and Callie are fairly realistic and good-looking (which helps ground the story), often times the game's renders can get quite noisy. This itself would not be much of an issue. However, there are times where the renders become so compressed / low quality you can count the pixels - or worse, faces are smudged or at the very least AI altered or generated.

Despite the game missing animations or elaborate sex scenes, the sex still comes off as believable. Sex scenes are offered in two flavors and are usually somewhat short. This game focuses on story more so than it does on sexual tension.

GAMEPLAY
It's a typical AVN and there aren't much story branches to go after. You can maybe fuck or skip a person, but that's about it.

OVERALL
All in all, I had fun playing Hotwifes on Holiday. It took me about one hour to finish through all three days two times, exploring all flavours. Overall, it's a mixed bag. While the story writing isn't A+, it's believable and sometimes downright funny. The renders are serviceable, but lack consistency. Special bonus points for including the men of the women and their points of view. Being a hotwife takes some work!

Hotwives on Holiday is a short, fun, and sexy visual novel that tells the tales of two beautiful women on holiday in Cancun. Jasmine, a hotwife with a permanent hall pass, and Callie, the cheating wife who cheats while on vacation away from her husband. The two women will get into lots of shenanigans while adventuring into the wonderful world of vacation sex.

The story is unpolished and porn-ish throughout. The scenes come rapidly and follow "porn logic." There are typos, and an annoying constant switch of calling the location Cancun and then Cabo, sometimes in the same sentence. But you'll get over it. Why?

Because the scenes are illustrated with two hot women and a lot of sex! You will see everything from blow jobs to public sex to gang bangs and a swinger party. The renders are not going to win any awards. They are rudimentary but effectively show the two gorgeous women having a lot of great vacation sex.

The player has a lot of room for choice. Each sex scene presents the player with the choice of engaging in a sex act, who is involved, and even what to do.

One tiny "pet peeve," I guess I will call it, is Jasmine preaches to Callie how important being open and honest in a relationship is. She insists that she is always honest with her husband. However, the two women experience a series of unfortunate events and Jasmine lies to her husband each time she describes it. I would prefer that Jasmine simply omit the details involving Callie instead of outright lying about it. It is a small, simple thing. I'd also like to bitchslap anyone who uses the term gaslighting.

Overall, the story is light-hearted, playful, and sexy enough to enjoy each scene. It represents swinging and hotwives fairly. And apparently, it teaches us the moral of being honest in a relationship. Enjoy!
