I played the first game, and initially I was liking it, but then it slowly started falling out of favor with me.
Firstly, let's talk about the art - it seems the devs are trying to be really artistic here, but they're kind of overdoing it, every scene uses heavy lighting and contrast, some scenes add heavy vignette on top of all that, honestly every time I play an episode of this I end up with a migraine by the end. But also it makes everything look artificial, the heart of the game is lost under these heavy effects.
Models - pretty much everyone would say this game has some of the best models, and it does, but they are literally all the same, all girls look the same with different hair and their facial expressions are literally the same and even their personality seems the same, all of them act in the same shy manner around the MC, even Ceryl who looks like a tomboy and was introduced at the end of the first game, turns out is the same type.
But the biggest problem with this game is the forced relationships, I can't stand it, especially not when the MC has a milf kink, so not only you are forced to sex, but you're forced to sex with old ladies, at least in the first game. I was hoping it would change, but no, the new season brings new batch of ladies you're forced to lay with and even if you try to fling it they still get a bunch of points with the MC, and you can't even reject any of them, not only 3 new girls were forced on you, but the game also promised that the two milfs from the previous game, who are in slumber, will return with new kinks or whatever.
I get the game wants the MC to gain power via intercourse, but at least give the player some freedom to choose. This forced thing feels like a job and I treat it as such, and there's no enjoyment in it, I pretty much fast forward all the photoshoots at this point, but who knows if the game will forcefully stick these ladies in MCs life as it seems the ones from the 1st game are.
As far as the story goes, it might develop into something in the long run, but so far it's all over the place, a lot of pieces moving as if something big will happen, but so far MC has spent 99% of his time building relationships as if in a vacuum, maybe by the end of this season it will get more serious once the MC gets enough power I guess, but that phase of the story has dragged on too long already, we're pretty much doing everything we did in the first game all over again, just with different characters.
But there's still some light at the end of the tunnel, and in the first game it was Julia who kept me in the game, and this time it's Brie, if not for these two I would have dropped the game long ago, but at least we spent some good time with Brie so far in this game, will try to free her from her curse and also bring Julia back, that's pretty much my only purpose in the game so far, we'll see if the rest of it gets better, then maybe I'll improve my rating, but for now, this game has mostly kept disappointing me with some beautiful moments sprinkled here and there.
