Seems to me that we have mostly people from the "barely tolerate big sizes" group here so far. I'd say one common way to identify that is the inability to suspend disbelief about it. I mean, if you are worried about the girl's well being and wondering how anyone can survive that when you see it, I guess it's just not for you.
Personally, I don't think I would go below number 2 in general, if I do use number 1 it would be like "the initial shape" and then it gets bigger for whatever reason.

I get what you mean, in fact, when I'm making a character's dick if I'm not going for full hyper I often use another character with the mouth as wide open as possible before getting into anaconda jaws territory to "measure" the dick's thickness. Let me tell you, you are very much a person of culture. I get what you mean. For example, Rigid3D may be one of my favorite 3dx artists but it does annoy me how he rarely bothers with stomach bulging, which I think is the bare minimum if there are huge dicks involved. In my case, it's definitely going to be in my game, maybe optional if I see too many people complaining about it.

About the dick proportions relative to the character, I also kinda agree? I mean, yeah, usually I do prefer bigger dicks on bigger characters, but I also love the contrast in a short and cutesy futa wielding an enormous and veiny dick going sex berserk and fucking thick ladies.
