How do I filter out the content I don't want?

How do I filter out the content I don't want on this site, is there some way to edit the search/display on this site to remove tags I don't like?

You go to latest updates and in the filters to the right exclude (up to ten) tags you don't want to see, also turn off any of the prefixes you don't want. Bookmark it after with your browser if you want to save it.
