How do people feel about camp?

I have to say I'm not really into that specific part of the fantasy world (and generally I prefer realistic things), but you are a very good writer and can probably pull it off.

I can imagine that getting the visuals right will be extremely complicated though.

There are more complicated fantasy games which kind of fall through because the visuals don't keep with the story and/or because the story itself is too far fetched/not believable.

It's not that kind of camp, he's referring to over the top cheesy humour which is called camp humour not an actual camp people go to.

I was watching Jason X, and I thought, 'a game about an inept would-be killer that tries to hunt camp counselors but ends up in sexual escapades instead could be really funny.' So, I did a search for "camp," and I found this. And then I laughed and laughed and laughed. Thanks for that!
If I ever make a game, I promise to make "Massacre At Camp: Campy" as funny as possible.

To the OP: that scene sounds hilarious, I would love to see such a game.

Intentional moments of campiness are great-not always that easy to pull off, but when done right it can really lighten the mood of a story.
Unintentional camp is hilarious in its own right, of course.
