How do you guys deal with creativity and hornyness

So,
like a many in here, I've decided to try and come up with game. hopefully, my partners and I will have a demo soon to post here to see you all feedback, but that is for another post enterily.

I'm the writer of the game. So, I write and come up with all those scenes and I kinda assumed when it came to the sexy parts it would kinda play out as "It's a job".
Like I would get desinterested in whatever I wrote over time and just do it....

So... that's not what is happenning at all... I would even say it's been quite the opposite, my wife is wondering what is going on. And I was not expecting that at all.

So I was wondeing how all of you guys that deal in the creative side of porn (writers, artists, animators, whatever) how it's been going for you with those projects and how often you find yourself having to take a pause to just flat out amsturbate (or anything else really to deal with the tension)?

Have some of you developped any good trick? cause it can become problematic when I've been trying to work on a scene for a while and I keep getting distracted by my own stuff.

Edit: spelling and such.

With control horniness can be a great motivator when designing sexual content. Especially if you frame it in a way that you can only release yourself after reaching a desired milestone.

I think generally it's a good thing. For one, it's probably the best indicator you can have that the scene you're writing is actually hot. And for two, it can both light a fire under you and make the writing much easier. I suffer from the opposite problem, because I work on my game very inconsistently, I often find myself getting stuck in the same scene for months, and the longer I'm stuck on a scene the harder it becomes to write because it goes stale for me. It may have gotten me hard when I thought it up, but that excitement usually doesn't last forever. When you're horny for your scene you know what you want, the words just spill out of you and you go "oh, this is good! And then this should happen! And this is why this scene is really hot, I'm gonna put that into words!" When you come back to a scene that you've let sit half finished for months you have to scramble and search for what to say, and it's more like "I guess it should go like this... What should they say here? Maybe she should do this now? Is that hot? I think that should be hot... probably..."

That being said, getting too horny can be a problem, and I have had to stop writing to go jerk off before. When that happens you just gotta let it out, take a breather, and try to get back to it hopefully with a slightly cooler head, not much else I can offer there. The sweet spot is when you're kinda excited but not too horny, when your heart's pumping just a little bit faster but you're still focused and productive, that's the spot you gotta aim for. Can be hard to maintain though, sooner or later you'll probably get yourself too excited, then you stop, climax, take five and try again I suppose.

I guess in the end there's not much I can really offer in terms of advice. All I can say is that on the larger scale you should appreciate that you're excited for what you're writing, and to keep trying and maybe you'll get better at finding the balance and pace that work for you. And also that it's perfectly reasonable to have to stop to masturbate because you got yourself too hot playing out the scene you're writing, it happens to us all.

Grow up a bit I guess.

I'm going to assume (OMG terribly terrible I am) you're a young guy who still thinks with his little head. Otherwise you should be able to keep your shit together long enough to do what needs to be done.

I'm an adult entertainment producer, IE porn. While I have been turned on by my models, never enough to distract me from the task at hand. Then again maybe it's different for women. Except most of my writers and directors are men and they're not chokin' the chicken every 5 minutes or on breaks between scenes, neither are the camera men, editors, caterers,,, well there was that one time when the Uber Eats driver,, NVM.

I'm going to seriously insult you and hurt your feelings,

Grow up.

While most of my erotic making experience come from making various game mods and a brief stint making SFM porn, the main reason I stopped was because I wasn't getting much out of it porn wise. Once you are posing characters and making animations it's all too clinical to be exciting. The only part of the process that was titillating was imagining up scenarios and poses before I started.
I wonder if that plays a part in why so many games get abandoned(other than the sheer amount of work)? People get all hot and bothered thinking about making a game but then when they get down into it it's just all, trying to make sure legs doesn't clip into furniture and cursing the 3D model for the pussy bones being wonky and other methodical things.

That said the little erotic writing I have done made me way more horny than posing and animating. Never enough to where I needed to take a fap break however. If I were to make a game myself it would probably be text based partly for that reason. That and working with text is just fun from a programming perspective.

I would say, it is the same as working in a hospital. It is work and naked people do not turn you on anymore in the hospital because it is work.

I get that, a lot, when I work on the sex scenes on my game. It's a good indicator that your scenes are decent, or at least you can fap to.

My game is a real porn HTML game, so the process of editing the parts of the vid I want, get them to a format that is low enough, then edit again to make them on the right size..gets me horny, and later writing up the scene also gets me even more horny. There was one scene on my game that got me fapping 3 times on the same day I did it (editing and writing).

I guess for 3D games, like daz and similars the process is not as sexy since they have to deal with the 3D technical issues of the scenes (legs inside out, clipping and so on...), but in HTML games, oh man, making the scenes can be hot.

I guess the erotica writers should have this exact "issue"
