VAM How Feasible is it to create a VN using VAM?

Looking into creating a visual novel for fun.

Are there enough tools and assets within VAM to create something great or would I be better off using Honey Select/KK?

Tales from the Deep does. I'd imagine it's feasible, but monetization might be fairly limited past Patreon. HS/KK have a ton of mods, and even more helpful people throughout the community/discord groups, but I'd also say it's in a serious state of limbo until either A) Illusion gives up their IP (effectively making it public domain), or B) Someone buys Illusion and/or its IP and then decides what to do with it (e.g. Sell a commerical use license or start hitting the bigger Illusion devs with DMCAs.).
