I mean they for sure do advertise their games a lot. But are they in any case better as the games we have on this site? They appear to be mostly 2D. Are they getting close to Summer Time Sage? Judging by the art work they look good bot not breathtaking. And why are the nutaku games not on this site?

Some games sold on Nutaku are here. But a lot of their games, and the ones they use in ads (instead of commissioned animations) are "free" to play online ones that aren't allowed. Like

They tend to have relatively high production values, since most of them are done by professional teams. Sadly they're also almost all of them Free-to-play skinner boxes with microtransactions and mind-numbing grind.
Sexy Airlines is a good example of this. Easily the best flight attendants 2d porn around (not that there are many competition) except maybe Milky Touch and MT doesn't focus solely on flight attendants. It's an idle game but without paying for microtransactions you're probably looking at at least a year of daily grind to unlock all the "economy class" contents. Why did I say "economy class"? Because there are flight attendants which are exclusive for VIP players (monthly subscribers) only. Supposedly they will gradually be made available to all players after they introduce enough new FAs (to be made the new exclusives) but I stopped playing before this happen. There are also frequent events offering time-limited contents which are near impossible for free players to fully complete unless perhaps they stockpiled months-worth of free supplies. Did I mention it's often plagued by technical/connection problems sometimes even during those time-limited events?

I've played only one game on Nutaku that I'd say passes the bare minimum for what I consider a passable game: Magicami DX. It's the only game on there that seems to have any story and gameplay rises past the stage of "excuse to call it a game" that most nutaku games exhibit. Unfortunately it's also a gacha, and has microtransactions. At least the base game is free, and doesn't lock all the sex behind a grind/paywall.
They are all grindy as fuck by design. The monetization model is to make it grindy enough to get people to spend money on shit. The vast majority of them have rather boring gameplay. Typical incremental or collector game systems. The overwhelming majority are unfappable. They have nice art, but is usually vanilla, have flimsy overarching stories, and don't typically have full fledged scenes.
I've played around with a few, but there are 2 games that I personally played for a long while. Cunt Wars has decent gameplay. You can take it easy and slowly improve your deck. I had fun with it for a long while and am just starting to get bored of the grind. I still log in to direct the Turf War for my guild, but kinda stopped doing the daily grinds. 0 fap worthy content, but there are some great eye candy CGs.
Taimanin Battle Arena is pretty much the only fappable Nutaku game in my opinion. If you like typical scenes from Lilith games, there is a gold mine here. It takes a bit of dedication to get into the top50 to get the important event rewards as a F2P player, but you absolutely can, at least when I was playing it a year or so ago. It felt pretty fun as well once you get into top50 and cal snowball without spending.
I'm sure others have their own guilty pleasure from nutaku, but you just need to accept the fact that these games are designed to strike that balance between player retention and player spending. Make it too P2W and you lose the player base. Make it too F2P friendly and they are losing out on $$$. And and all these games will shower you with resources when you first start then taper off once you are hooked. Some miss the balance and make it extremely frustrating if you don't spend. Some make it more fair and give you a decent sense of progression for F2P.

I totally agree. Their games are all pay to play. Not very fun. This site has so many better options.

I used to play a bunch of them years ago when Nutaku was fresh but then the games I liked were shut down. After that I played them less and less because they could be shut down at any moment, so no point in sinking my time into diminishing returns.
