That's the twice/once a year option. And yes, it is also the one I picked because usually that's the sweetspot for a good ammount of content without the dev rushing to release every version in between.

Practically yes, but technically it depend of the dev. A team of five can perfectly reach the same amount of content with one update every two months. Reason why I prefer my "the time needed", because it focus more on the amount of content, than on the frequency.

I can't wait, I need my dose of that same game every week

I'm impatient but I can wait an extra week for more content, so every other week is my compromise.

Once a month, 4 weeks should be enough time right?

A few months at least, I don't mind waiting more for longer chunks of content.

Once or twice a year to check how the game is progressing, I can wait.

I'll play it once and then wait until the game is completed.

I'm only playing it after completion.
