Is there a way to blacklist certain game tags (i.e. certain kinks) so that games with that tag don't appear for you? like you can block things like engine (Unity, RPGM, Unreal Engine, etc.) or development status (Abandoned, Completed, etc.)?

For Prefix you can set them in user preferences under "Ignored Prefixes".
