I think those are AI-generated images, so they're not the best source.
You should be able to mess with the shader settings of your model's skin to get a wet kind of look.
In the surfaces tab:
turn down Dual Lobe.
Turn up refraction, glossy reflectivity and roughness.

Artificially add wetness in post-work.
You can draw white lines over your character's skin, lower the opacity to 10%~ and add a high strength gaussian blur. it takes more time but you have 100% control over the outcome.
