I think most erotic novels are written by females. I know at least one personally (got a 1000 buck for it if I remember correctly) and suspect at least one other of writing or having written erotic novels.
If you go to fan-fic sites a lot of it (including the steamy stuff) is written by women and I wouldn't be surprised if a site like literotica has a higher share of women.
And a youtube personality who had done voicework said that he had done a lot of it for female authors.

I doubt too, but for anything prior to this they published under a male name, and when they died it was still not acceptable for a woman to do such thing, so they never got clean on who they really were.

people are too gullible. dont assume someone in the adult games community is a female just because they have a female nick or a girl as pfp. it's the opposite, always assume everyone is a guy unless they say otherwise.

I prefer avoiding assumptions, but that's sure more likely (especially profile pics!). Though in Eva Kiss's case I think she's a woman, I just won't tell that to others as a fact.
