Hey all, I feel dumb for asking this but there are a handful of games iv'e come across over the years where the game just doesn't fit my computer screen and it chops away at dialog and sometimes even options to do anything in the game. I appreciate any help.

I don't feel dumb, but I am asking the same question. How to deal with those programs larger than my screen on Windows?

Some games are just the one size, you may be able to
Check the games options menu if you can get to it for any resolution setting, occasionally they'll be in a separate exe called something like config. If you think the game should fit but doesn't, you could try right clicking the games exe and turning of any screen scaling in the properties.

If you are talking about the black bars, it could also be the ratio.
16:9 is pretty common, but if you have anything different, some games might apply black bars to cover the empty space.
Stretching is never an option because it'd look pretty bad.

Some games have Y size larger than my monitor's 768. Anyway I found a way to view bottom parts:
