hello, i just wanted to ask, how do i optimize these type of games? i can play genshin impact just fine and smooth, but for some reasons, games like these (Letina's Odyssey https://f95zone.to/threads/letinas-odyssey-v1-03-asakiyumemishi.130887/) are very not smooth... these are the graphics i have and have set these applications to run with but still not smooth

Thanks in advance!

(also, if anyone knows of kozue's strange journey, do you know what "hype" does?)

I'm not sure what you mean by "not smooth". Are you sure you aren't just running the game the way it is supposed to run?

If you can share a gameplay video so people could see how it is running and then compare to how it was supposed to be running it would be easier to gauge if you have any issue at all or if the game just runs like that for everyone.

Yeah the framerate looks very low.

If you are sure that your graphic drivers are correctly installed then It could be that your notebook is still insisting on using integrated graphics instead of your gpu for rpgm games.

To try and fix this go to the nvidia control panel, and inside "manage 3D settings">"program settings" look for the game you are playing and force it there to run in "HIGH performance nvidia processor".

This should make sure that it will stop using your intel graphics.

I tried to to this but everytime i go to

Program Settings>Add>Browse>Open

or

Program Settings>Add>Browse>Add Current Folder

My other application "Game.exe(game.exe)" for my other RPG Pronant Symphony keeps being shown instead of the game itself

I tried putting the entire folder but it doesnt get better...

i set it to my application shortcut instead... do you happen to have any preferred settings like for "threaded optimization" as in what dictates "most newer application"?

You can also right click the game and select the gpu to run manually.
Also, keep in mind that low FPS could be caused by other things as well, from drivers to other things unrelated to GPU (such as a heavy usage of disk, ram or cpu).
