The only valuable stuff that I read in this forum is literally this.

Even though "gap between the characters" are basically another form of fetish for me.
And it will effect players like the things you said for the extreme fetishs.

I just wonder why you extract "gap between the characters" from fetishes, cause can't see the difference between them.
The "gap between the characters" is actually a very big and general concept in storytelling to create tension and quite different feelings for characters that reaches far beyond the adult industry and is basically used in any kind of literature/movies/TV shows/... The less two characters have in common, the more interesting it gets to see how they interact together and the more the interest in the story rises. This can lead to totally different feelings, not only sexual satisfaction, but it can be used as a means to create this, if one pulls the right triggers.

A fetish is rather quite a specific concept about things, that are not sexual in nature, but induce in a concrete person nevertheless sexual feelings.

We could say that "the Gap" is the most important fetish and is so fundamental to the creation of any erotic creation, it exists out of the "fetish" list. Or that you are right, and that it's just another fetish. It doesn't matter, really. What matters is that porn creators would benefit from realizing that "the Gap" is almost essential for creating great erotica.
