How to unzip and play 7z and rar files on a mac?

So I am a pretty big noob when it comes to this. So here is my problem. I unzip the 7z or rar seemingly just fine and have used multiple programs like keka or the unarchiver. But when once it is done decompresing and I go to play the game it says (The application "Title" cannot be opened.) Am I missing a step somewhere? I literally do nothing other then what I just listed. Helped would be appreciated.

@nat0902 I've been using Keka for some time without any trouble.
Do you have any links that cause you problems?

However, this may be the Mac security, allowing only App Store and know developers applications.

Did you find the answer ? Because I’m having the same problem with Mac version 0.6
