The game is kind of a mess. It's buggy too. Many times I encountered visual glitches. You can use left-click to move around, but then for some reason you can't go through doors like that and are forced to play with the arrow keys. There were numerous visual glitches. Sometimes you can go through walls when you shouldn't be able to. Some events can be repeated infinitely. Some options should be locked, but aren't. Overarching accomplishments, such as the various different endings, are for some reason tied to your savefile rather than being independent of it, which means that starting a new game makes the different endings in the "endings room" disappear. But then, some endings are impossible to obtain if you do certain irreversible things, like raising your lust. Which means that if you have a savefile with 5 unlocked endings, it might be impossible to get them all, so you would be required to start anew with 0 unlocked endings (assuming you want to complete the game 100%).
This is fundamentally a severe lack of polish and makes the overall experience unpleasant. Let alone the boring story/plot or the horrid AI design. The level design is also pretty silly. Most of the game is literally just a walking simulator with the quests telling you to go from A to B to C to B again, to D, etc.
If at least the h-scenes were worth it, but they really aren't. There's not much variety in them and it's basically the same thing over and over again. Honestly, it's just hard to give this game any stars at all.
