I personally don't find the appeal of 3d games.
I prefer 2d games or even text based.
What i'm MAINLY looking for is an rpg, bdsm, slaves/harems , monster girls and even transformation. (I don't require all of them, but at least most of them)
I just want to know if people some popular or obscure games that can fit these genres.

Got to admit I also prefer those over anything rendered - there's something very uncanny valley like about the computer generated sprites at the moment!

Everyone has their likes, dislikes, and preferences... I really don't care if it's 2D, 3D, Text, and/or even ANSI Graphics, as long as the game play is fun and the story is told well... I can use my imagination to either fill in the blanks or picture in my minds eye what is being told to me if the writing is good and the events feel meaningful...

I've not tried a bunch of Text based ones, so I'm having a tough time remembering which ones I thought showed some promise...

I'd agree. I don't get the appeal of 3d porn and unsourced porn gifs put in the game, it's a slight turn off for me, especially the porn gifs. Still, I'm quite choosy on the art style of the game. If the game's art style is 2d, but is iffy, it still turns me off.
If for slaves/harem and bdsm, I'd recommend Jack o' nine tails, but it may contain quite extreme kinks.
For monster girls and transformation, I'd recommend Degrees of lewdity. It's text based though.

I also rather 2D games because at least they try to have unique art (not all of them, of course... but the best ones do). 3D has so many DAZ or HoneySelection models that they feel all the same. There are exceptions, but they seem to be too few.

Considering that most unique artstyles are often expressed better in 2D environment, with only occasional 3D game with proper design having unique artstyle, like you know, unique patterns of clothing, not so generic humans/characters, non-generic world, and other things that you have to do in order to stand out from others. Like let's say Team Fortress 2 cartoony 3D artstyle and some other game's generic 3D artstyle - there's a clear difference between what's better and stylistic and what's not. Or, 2 games that are both realistic, but different portrayals of it; one goes with unique clothing and distinct characters, another looks fairly indistinguishable from regular people you'd meet in real world - the first one would be in the top.

Both environments have their own advantages and disadvantages, realistic products work better with 3D, the non-realistic fantasy with 2D.
