Skimming through, I see a lot of talk about mods. Exactly how many mods does this game have? Is there a list somewhere with brief descriptions? or if anyone is willing to list the mods they know of with brief descriptions. Are the mods only compatible with the latest version or are they backwards compatible with older versions of the game?
..

that post has a list, it depends per mod what version they were on but they are backwards compatible, you just cannot run multiple mods simultaniously (so copy the full game folder per mod)

I was meaning to compile a list anyways, so here we go.

Also, due to how "modding" functions in RPG Maker, your version shouldn't matter, but its generally a good idea to just have the up-to-date version. Also due to how you can't truly "mod" RPGM in a traditional sense, Mods also have very low, and most often zero, cross compatibility if they aren't made very, very specifically to do so, and each mod must realistically be applied to the base game on an individual basis, using a clean version of the game for each new mod. Modding is done with a simple drag-and-replace folders to their same-named counterparts in the game's folder.

Violated Princess Ver1.05.4 ENG +VP 1.05.4 Tim-v9 ENG rec v3 + VP_hiroiheyaMOD1+2 ENG

This is the current, fully translated, most "complete" experience of Violated Princess. In addition to the base game, which can be used as the base for other mods, it also comes pre-patched with 2 of the most popular mods.
The Tim Pure Love mod, which expands Tim's role in the game, and gives Serena a proper love interest in the game and lets you potentially have at least some sex that isn't miserable. Also expands the endings some to give more love to Tim. Its generally very wholesome.

Hiroiheya mod 1 and 2 are two pretty self-contained, and surprisingly lengthy, sub scenarios. One centers around a mysterious and naïve girl that looks just like Serena, and can actually be kinda cute, while the other centers around the cruel adventurer Gibier and is more similar to events found in the base game, if slightly more extreme. The quality of both is still very high, surpassing the base game's events in a one-to-one comparison.

Saves to start the scenarios; www.zip
Also, Scenario 2 has a rather hidden branch hiding its best content. After the scene in the guild, once teleported back to the inn, rather then talking to Rena, leave the inn and talk to Cicilia at the orphanage for a hidden route.

A free, though untranslated 3rd short scenario that adds a new couple scenes and ending to the first branch of the Hiroiheya Mod 2, after Serena is kidnapped by Gibier the adventurer. Also a little on the intense side, but the artwork is absolutely supurb.

An extension that builds off the ending of the Tim Pure Love mod's ending, combining it with some of the worldbuilding of the other Hiroiheya mods.

An incredibly hefty mod in development that is shaping up to be amazing. An early version is available for free. It includes large rewrites to the entire base game to change Serena's personality and approach to sexuality. The current demo version only adds the "disenchanted" personality, which makes her a little less traumatized by the game, with a sex-loving "nasty" version who comes with a plethora of new art and scenes, and a more mysterious "childlike innocence".

Placenta-Saute's Bad End mod collection
A group of mods by the same creator with compatibity with each other (provided you install them in release order). Each mod adds remarkably sizable extensions to each of the monster defeat events all the way up to their own unique bad endings. Unfortunately, they are not translated. In order, they are; - - - - - -

Placenta-Saute is also actively working on a pregnancy mod that will increase the potential belly size during pregnancy, which adds a lot of new art.

A smaller, self-contained mod modifying the tentacle's capture scenes, giving Serena evolving dialogue and expressions as she slowly succumbs to the pleasure of being the tentacles breeding bag.

That's everything I have myself, I'll take a minute to crawl through the thread and cien later to see if I can't scrounge up anything else.

A free, though untranslated 3rd short scenario where Serena is turned into the breeding bitch for the town by a cruel manipulator, ending in her being used as a fleshlight by one of her monserous offspring. Still more on the extreme side, but the artwork and scenes are supurb.

Thanks so much for this! the only question i have is for the personality mod, will there be a translated version for it or is there a way to translate it?.

I was planning on translating it myself once it fully releases. There are machine translation tools out there that do the job pretty well, but none that I can quite wrap my aged old head around, I still manually edit events one by one in RPG Maker itself, rather then those fancy script de/recompilers. Sirfes, from the previous page, translated the one bad end mod with such a tool, and the legendary DazedAnon was behind the Hiroiheya mods. You would have to ask them for more information if you're good with machine translation (Dazed built his own AI tool, and it does phenomenal work). Other then that, you can use a tool like to do on-the-spot translations, which works for most games too, and is just a nice tool to have on hand anyways.

How do I start the other modded sub scenarios?

Specifically wondering how to start Hiroiheya mod 1 and 2
Sorry about that, most of the mods come with saves for their content, and my own files are a bit of a disaster managing the mess of mods. I've dropped a save here at the start of each scenario, because honestly, I couldn't tell you what exactly triggers their start, this game has so many branches and layers you just kinda got to luck into them sometimes.

Also added this save to the full post.

I'm having issues with the image in the game, like it says the character image was not found or an error

By any chance do you use a translating tool to enjoy the untranslated mods. Like some sort of text hooker + translator. I vaguely remember using VNR to enjoy untranslated h rpgmaker games on my old laptop (got busy playing more AAA-games since getting a new one).

Am I crazy or was there a mod that extended the Black Slime ending a bit? Because I swear I can't find it anymore on the Ci-En of any of the mod authors that have been posted here.

Like even the artist JJ.JJ makes a reference to the mod and the supposed author in one of his VP/Serena comics/drawings.

If someone could point me at the post with said mod I'd be grateful, because I'm either blind or crazy

is my go-to choice for this. It struggles a bit with Violated Princess for reasons I can not tell, displaying duplicated text, but it doesn't actually affect readability much. Its far from perfect, but as far as on-the-spot machine translators go, I've not found one faster or more accurate. It can also hook into and translate pretty much any engine with a semi-normal text parser, so its a valuable tool to have around overall.

I'm having issues with the image in the game, like it says the character image was not found or an error
When unpacking mods into the game directory, make sure that all the files end up in the correct place, and you replace all files when prompted. That's my best guess, at least, VH in my experience has some remarkably robust error handling when it can't find an image and shouldn't be crashing if it can't find something. You shouldn't be missing files in the first place unless you messed something up, but if all else fails, you can follow the error file path to find where the error is supposedly happening, and simply copying and renaming a related file, then dismissing the error prompt. It may cause visual errors, but it does fix the issue. If you're getting an error for missing map data, then you copied something wrong. You'll probably just need to grab a fresh download and set things up from the beginning again.

I believe it's in the tim route depending on the flags. I found that one a bit more grotesque than the others tbh.
