That's...kind of insanely arrogant and presumptuous, but ok. I think the point is less about "there CAN'T be a porn game with good story" but that there's unlikely to ever be one. Fairy Tale Knight Ricca is about the closest I've ever seen to a porn game with good writing (many people have attested to feeling genuinely put off by how well the dev portrays the protagonist's suffering), but it's still far short of any kind of convincing narrative where I feel like there's anything else in the world besides horny monsters and the poor hopeless humans trying to avoid getting raped. Putting aside that the fetishes in many hentai games more or less can't facilitate a good story (most would be horribly depressing and not worth the mental stress given how many games focus on complete objectification of women), most hentai games are made by regular everyday chuds like us; if someone had actual writing talent, I doubt they would waste it making hentai games for horny morons that will likely just pirate it. You are right, my mistake. I used the advanced search bar instead of the Latest updates search bar, which apparently is far more detailed than the simple advanced search. You also taught me a much more useful tool to do this stuff, so you deserve a thank you, too. This one goes for you

I thought the same, then I played "Once in a lifetime" by Carybdis and changed my mind. I assure you, there are games with a fantastic story like this one. The 3D models don't look like dead manequins (typical in cheap 3d games), so that's one more point.

The dead mannequin part definitely resonates with me: I used to hate 3D back in the early 2000s because facial animations were so rare, and even when they were present they were just so robotic it was offputting. Like I said though, Holy Knight Ricca (actually looked up the name this time lol) also has an anomalously good story for a hentai game, and that's on top of it being one of the most content rich hentai games on the internet for how long it has been developed (devs are clearly passionate, they've made 100x the game in barely a couple of years that other less reputable devs have done in 7-8 years of raking in cash on Patreon). Still, that's an extreme case, and I would never expect that level of quality to become the standard (not that I wouldn't want it, but that I just don't see there being a market that encourages people to go to those lengths).

There are many porn games with excellent stories! Fairy Knight Ricca I'd say is fairly mid. It has a... competent story, but not a good one.

Even if I assume that visual novels are cheating (there are just an infinite number of porn VNs with truly amazing stories, e.g. Fate and Tsukihime are both technically hentai), there is a long list of porn games with excellent writing and story. The Rance saga (over 10+ games) is great. Baldr Sky. Demons Roots. The *Ikusa Megami* series by Eushully. BlackSouls. There's a lot of gems in the genre!
