I wanna make a game but don't have resources

I wish I could make my own game but I can't afford an artist. Should I just hope that ai art gets better?
To devs who hired artists, how much did it cost, and how many distinct renders did you get per month?

AI is an option, but it's very finicky at the moment. Wrangling it to do something semi-decent is a skill in itself.
There's also DAZ, HoneySelect, Koikatsu. Blender, if you're brave.
